Grant's Rant: 9-6-23 It's About Time!!!! Sep 06, 2023

Show notes

2003 is a long time ago. That's the last time an American men's tennis player won a major. Three American's were in the US Open's Quarterfinals and now unseeded Ben Shelton is the only one left standing as he moves on to the semis. Shelton is a dynamic, powerful 20-year-old and has the New York crowd in the palm of his hand. It's about time!

Episode 267: NFC Preview Sep 05, 2023

Show notes

On today's episode I preview the NFC. To me it is a repeat of last season with the 49ers and Eagles battling it out for the right to be in the Super Bowl. To me, Jalen Hurts is the difference! I think Hurts is close to being an elite QB. Many are riding the Lions and I think they will win the division at 10-7. I am not sold on the Vikings, and I don't see the Packers or Bears being quite ready. The Saints will win by default in the South, but I could see the Falcons making it interesting.

Grant's Rant: 9-5-23 Pipe Down Prime Time Sep 05, 2023

Show notes

Deion sanders has Colorado off to a good start. They beat 17th ranked TCU in their opener. That's fine and dandy, but Prime Time's postgame presser made me ill. It's one win. Stop calling out the media and acting like you just won the natty!

Episode 266: AFC Preview Sep 01, 2023

Show notes

On today's episode I preview the AFC. This is a conference with several teams that could be playing in February. All eyes are on the jets due to Aaron Rodgers but I see issues with their offensive line. Are the Bills ready to knock the door down? To me it's the same two teams, Kansas City and Cincinnati. It is a QB league and Mahomes and Burrow are still the best in my eyes. Don't count out the Bills, Dolphins, Chargers and maybe the Jags but I like KC and Cincy the most!

Grant's Rant: 8-31-23 Ryder Cup Thoughts Aug 31, 2023

Show notes

The US Ryder Cup team is set. Both Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas were captain's picks. Kopeka is one of our best players. Thomas has been awful this year especially as of late. To me JT doesn't deserve to be on the team/

Grant's Rant: 8-30-23 Time For Bosa To Work Aug 30, 2023

Show notes

The 49ers and Nick Bosa still don't have a new deal worked out. Bosa is due to make nearly $18 million this year but wants a new deal. I get it. He is great, but he is under contract. As great as he is, he's not Superman! He needs some time on the field before playing in a game. It is time to get to work! It is time to get a deal done!
