Grant's Rant: 1-13-22 What's The Real Truth About Ben Simmons? Jan 13, 2022

Show notes

Yesterday the Philadelphia 76ers met with Ben Simmons agent. Simmons has yet to play in a game this season and there appears to be no resolution in sight. Sixers President Daryl Morey said he isn't trading Simmons unless he receives fair market value in return. In the meeting Simmons agent Rich Paul said that his client is dealing with mental health hurdles. What the hell does that mean? If Simmons has mental health issues why would any GM in the league trade for him? Makes no sense to me!

Grant's Rant: 1-12-22 Kings vs Suns and Grizz Jan 12, 2022

Show notes

As the Sacramento Kings continue to slide to the bottom of the Western Conference standings, the Suns and Grizzlies are excelling. What makes this frustrating for Kings fans is both of those teams were in the lottery with the Kings just five years ago and seemingly every year until recently. The difference? Smart moves and competent management! Period!

Grant's Rant: 1-11-22 Respect Earned For Jimmy G Jan 11, 2022

Show notes

On Sunday it was a gutty effort by 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo who helped get his team into the postseason. Garoppolo played with a torn ligament and chip fracture in his thumb on throwing hand and was solid. It seems like many fans underappreciate him. I don't understand why. Jimmy G gives the 49ers the best chance to win! Period!

Episode 133: Lebron James Reckless Tweet And Kings Midterm Grades Jan 11, 2022

Show notes

Lebron James is at it again. This time King James is calling for the head of Washington Wizards broadcaster Glenn Consor. Last week during the Rockets game Consor made a mistake regarding Kevin Porter Jr's father. Consor said after Porter hit a game winning shot, " Kevin porter Jr., like his dad, pulled that trigger right at the right time." Porter's father pleaded gulity to first manslaughter in a 1993 shooting death of a 14 year old girl. Consor thought Porter's father was former NBA player Kevin Porter. That didn't stop James from putting out a series of tweets calling for Consor's job. It never ends with James and his reckless behavior on social media. I then give the Sacramento Kings midterm grades for their key players. My grades aren't pretty. The team overall received an F!

Grant's Rant: 1-10-22 Another Pathetic Effort By Sac Kings Jan 10, 2022

Show notes

Last night the Kings lost to the Trailblazers scoring only 88 points. The Kings are now a season worst 10 games under.500, Only three teams in the NBA have more losses. At this point can we please just get five guys on the court who play hard? Is that asking too much? That's how bad things are in Sactown!
