Grant's Rant: 10-5-22 Jimmy G Can't Win Oct 05, 2022

Show notes

What a difference a week makes. Last week the 49ers lost at Denver...fans were all over QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Two nights ago, the Niners destroyed the Rams and are in good shape with Carolina and Atlanta coming up the next two weeks. With that being said can we please stop with the Jimmy G bashing after every 49ers loss? It is getting absurd. Here is the bottom line, he gives the team the best chance to reach the Super Bowl. 49er fans should that in mind!

Grant's Rant: 10-4-22 Keegan Murray Is The Real Deal Oct 04, 2022

Show notes

Last night the Kings opened pre-season play against the Lakers. Unlike some fans I don't care what the final score was, or Mike Brown's rotations, etc. What I will say is the Kings have themselves a heck of a player in Keegan Murray! The rookie from Iowa has been impressive from his draft night press conference and continues to impress. Period!

Episode 202: Two Years Later, All Lives Matter Oct 04, 2022

Show notes

Two years ago, this week I put out my first podcast. I talked about my summer, my May 31st tweet, All Lives matter! Every Single One! Yesterday a friend showed me a tweet from Zuby, a rapper, author and podcaster. His tweet talked about Black Lives Matter, White Lives matter, All Lives Matter. Zuby hit this one out of the park as I discuss on today's episode. I also talk about Stephen A Smith of ESPN. Stephen A is beginning a podcast and is making the rounds promoting his show. Smith appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity and unfortunately there are many people who had a problem with that. Stephen A is getting a lot of abuse on social media by those who can't handle differences of opinion! So Smith goes on Hannity's show and now you want to give him a label? Unbelievable!

Grant's Rant: 10-3-22 Stop With The Kaepernick Talk Oct 03, 2022

Show notes

Why is that every time and NFl QG gets hurt we have to hear about Colin Kaepernick? Enough is enough already. In week one when Dak Prescott of the Cowboys got injured, the next day Stepen A Snith of ESPN and many others said the Cowboys needed to give Kap a look. Have they been watching Cooper Rush play? Just one more example of stupid commentary by those on national stages!

Episode 201: Absurd Sports Network Hires Sep 30, 2022

Show notes

Have you ever asked yourself what sports network executives think about when they hire their talent? How absurd is that individuals like Urban Meyer can disgrace a franchise not to mention what transpired in his last two stops at Florida and Ohio St. An individual's past doesn't seem to matter to sports networks. I use Ray Lewis as an example when he was hired at ESPN. I then go over Matt Barne's troubling past and ask how on earth is he coveted by broadcast companies! Have you asked yourself what made Aqib Talib so attractive to Fox Sports and Amazon Prime? The answer to these questions is a troubling one, but I get into it on today's episode!

Grant's Rant: 9-30-22 Massive Tua Overreaction Sep 30, 2022

Show notes

Social media was its worst last night. When Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa was carted off the field last night the Twitter mob was in full force. Nobody seems to care about facts anymore, or information that may be pertinent to a subject. It was a sad indictment of what our society has become!
