Grant's Rant: 12-8-22 Is Fox Hurt or What?? Dec 08, 2022

Show notes

Last night the Kings began their six game trip with a loss to the Bucks. De'Aaron Fox struggled big time which has been more of the norm since winning Western Conference Player of the Week three weeks ago. Is he hurt, or is this just a continuation of an inconsistent player that we've seen during his first five years in the league?

Grant's Rant: 12-07-22 Aaron Judge Hysteria Dec 07, 2022

Show notes

As I recorded this rant, we are still waiting for Aaron Judge's decision on where he will play for the next 9, or 10 years. I'm not paying a guy $350-400 million dollars who has a career .211 average in 44 post season games with 66 strikeouts. I love watching him play and I'm a Yankees fan, but I'm not giving a guy who will be 31 in April with those kings of numbers a long term deal like what has been reported.

Grant's Rant: 12-06-22 Why Not The Kings? Dec 06, 2022

Show notes

The Kings begin a six game trip against the Bucks tomorrow night. They take a 13-9 record into the contest which is only more loss than the Suns who are atop the West. Right now name a team significantly better than the Kings? There isn't one. Why not dream a little bit? It is the holiday season right....go for it!

Episode 218: The GOAT's Dec 06, 2022

Show notes

Once again Tom Brady did the amazing! Last night Brady took the Bucs down the field for a winning TD vs the Saints with :03 on the clock. What he continues to do at age 45 is unbelievable! On today's show I talk about the GOAT's in each sport. If you were starting a franchise and could pick any player in the history of the game, wouldn't you choose Brady? In baseball would you take Babe Ruth? What about the NBA? Jordan, Kareem. Russell, Lebron, Magic....it becomes more difficult. Then there is the NHL where it is not difficult. To me not only is Wayne Gretzky the greatest hockey player of all time, he is the GOAT in all four major sports.

Grant's Rant: 12-05-22 Kings Win Again! Dec 05, 2022

Show notes

The Kings beat the Bulls yesterday and are now 13-9, yet some fans want Malik Monk put into the starting line-up. Kevin Huerter has struggled with his shot the past few games, while Monk is sizzling off the bench. Kings fans, I have a message. Don't worry about it. Enjoy the wins!

Grant's Rant: 12-2-22 Stop With The The Pulisic Hype Dec 02, 2022

Show notes

Enough is enough already. The USA beat Iran 1-0 on Tuesday to advance to the next round of the World Cup, but the talk about Christian Pulisic who scored the only goal is getting nauseating! Pulisic was injured on the play and the talk the past few days has been ridiculous. The magnitude of the goal can't be underestimated, but please stop with the nonsense that he sacrificed his body etc.
