Grant's Rant: 12-14-22 Kings in a Rut Dec 14, 2022

Show notes

Last night the kings looked bad again as they were controlled early and often by Joel Embiid and the Sixers. The Kings are now 1-3 with two games remaining on this trip. De'Aaron Fox returned to the line-up after missing two games with a foot injury and was ineffective. His backup Davion Mitchell remains an offensive liability , so the Kings are not getting efficient scoring currently from their point guard position. We shall see if they get back on track tonight in Toronto.

Grant's Rant: 12-13-22 NFL's Absurd Schedule Dec 13, 2022

Show notes

If you want to know how messed up the NFL schedule is just look at this week. Teams should never play a divisional game on a Thursday night, but this week the 49ers are at the Seahawks. Meanwhile in the NFC East the Commanders host the Giants. Washington is coming off a bye and are playing the Giants two games in a row. In Buffalo the Bills will host the Saturday. The Dolphins are playing their third straight road game and had their last game flexed to Sunday in LA. Just absurd scheduling by the NFL!

Grant's Rant: 12-12-22 Kings PG Position Dec 12, 2022

Show notes

The Kings are coming off a bad loss as they lost to the Knicks yesterday. They were really never in the game and played without De'Aaron fox for the second straight game. Fox is out with a foot injury. One thing is very clear to me and that is Davion Mitchell is an important piece for the Kings, but as of now he isn't a starting point guard in the league. Some fans have been critical of Fox the past two weeks, but the Kings miss him big time!

Grant's Rant: 12-09-22 Baker Toys With Raiders Dec 09, 2022

Show notes

How bad was last night if you are a fan of the Raiders? Embarrassing! Baker Mayfield who has been with the Rams since only Tuesday took his team 98 yards in less than 2 minutes with no timeouts for the winning touchdown. Pathetic for the Silver and Black!

Episode 219: Inept Raiders Dec 09, 2022

Show notes

The Raiders have had a lot of bad losses over the years, but last night has to be near the top of the list. Baker Mayfield who had only been on the Rams for 48 hours took his team on a 98 yard drive in less than two minutes with no timeouts for the winning touchdown with nine seconds remaining. On today's show I talk about their futility over the past 20 years. When you look at the Raiders season by season during that span, they only made the post-season twice and lost both times. Things don't appear to be getting any better this year!
