On Sunday Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott made a very disturbing remark about the officials after his team lost to the 49ers. Prescott thought the fans were throwing debris at his teammates and called it sad. He was then told the fans were throwing things at the officials. Dak responded " credit to them then". Dak's comment was not only unprofessional but has definitely stained his reputation. I talk about abuse towards officials both on the youth sports and professional level. I read excerpts from several articles talking about abuse towards sports officials. This is a big problem in our country!

The Dallas Cowboys season is over. The 49ers went into Big D and came away with the victory. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott validated that he is a good QB, but nothing more in my opinion. His performance yesterday was subpar and so were his comments after the game. about the officiating. Once again, another lost season for the Cowboys!

MLB and the MLBPA met via Zoom for the first time in 42 days yesterday. The word is they are still very far apart in reaching a labor agreement and the players were less than impressed with the owner's new proposals. Talk about a league being out of touch with reality! Do they really think fans are going to be sympathetic? Spring Training is in serious jeopardy and once again it is the little guy on the food chain who will suffer the most from this work stoppage. Just absurd!

Yesterday the Houston Texans fired head coach David Culley. This makes Mike Tomlin of the Steelers as the league's only Black head coach. I talk about the constant messaging by the league such as end racism and inspire change....the league has fallen way short when it comes to Black coaches in the league. I read a list of all the Black head coaches since 2000 and talk about the negative reaction by so many. I then talk about the labor impasse with MLB and the Player's Union. What a disgrace! In this day and age and billionaires and millionaires can't figure out how to split up billions of dollars. Screw them is what i say!

Yesterday the Philadelphia 76ers met with Ben Simmons agent. Simmons has yet to play in a game this season and there appears to be no resolution in sight. Sixers President Daryl Morey said he isn't trading Simmons unless he receives fair market value in return. In the meeting Simmons agent Rich Paul said that his client is dealing with mental health hurdles. What the hell does that mean? If Simmons has mental health issues why would any GM in the league trade for him? Makes no sense to me!
