Episode 139: NFL's Awful Messaging Feb 01, 2022

Show notes

On today's episode I discuss Snoop Dog performing at halftime of this year's Super Bowl. Phil Mushnick of the New York Post wrote a very interesting column over the weekend about the league's ridiculous messaging. He cited Snoop's lyrics encouraging violence on police. I discuss this and our need for better communication in our society. I use personal examples of sitting down with people who don't look like me, or sound like me and discussing these important issues. There continue to be too many people who remain silent about things that matter.

Grant's Rant: 1-31-22 A Wrap On Championship Weekend Jan 31, 2022

Show notes

Can't complain about the last two weekends of the NFL Playoffs. Tremendous entertainment. Speaking of entertainment, Tony Romo of CBS doesn't entertain me. Talks too much and smothers the game in my opinion. Not a good 4th quarter for the 49ers and Kyle Shanahan. Shanahan's 4th quarter play calling in the biggest of games hasn't been good. Speaking of not being good??? How about the Ram's fans once again selling their tickets? Yesterday the stadium was at least 50% 49er fans. Just embarrassing!

Grant's Rant: 1-28-22 Cooperstown Fiasco Jan 28, 2022

Show notes

Lots of people still talking about this week's Baseball HOF vote. What a joke! I am not a fan of Barry Bonds the person, but how is he not in the HOF? Same with Roger Clemmens and Curt Schilling. Just a joke! It is a very bad look for the sport of baseball!
