If time travel is possible and future humans are coming back to our era...what would they want? To kill a future despot? To make a change to the environment that saves future generations? To take back a computer from 1975 to make their time machine work properly? If you're anything like the subject of this week's show, John Titor, you went with door #3. According to his posts on the internet, John Titor traveled back to the 70s to get a special computer to save time travel. He also made a pit stop along the way in the early 00's to live with his family (and 2 year old self) and presumably post snotty messages on inane internet forums (not stand-up forums like Hysteria Nation). Sound crazy? That's the most normal part of this story. This week we do our best Sam Beckett and try to fix what went wrong with the OG Chrononaut - John Titor. Plus, John and Brent ponder the existential perils of time travel (not really - just looking for ways to make money on it). Conspiracy bot ponders the existential perils of time travel (not really - just looking for other ways to kill John and Brent). And David Flora of Blurry Photos is back in the lower 4th (he just wants to time travel to a time before he met Conspiracy Bot). Crystal Skulls: Mystical Marvels or Fake Fossils? | 94 Jul 09, 2018

There is a series of skulls across the globe that are made of solid quartz and are virtually identical to one another. Some legends say that the unification of the 13 original skulls will save the human race from the certain doom that is Y2K. Wait...that came and went. Anyway, you get the idea. Get the skulls together and they have some sort of mystical power. Others argue they are nothing more than modern-day fakes. Whatever the case, we can all agree they're a terrible basis for a movie (just going to leave that there and move on). Anyway, this week we dive into the history and mystery of the crystal skulls. What is their true origin? Are they evidence of an advanced ancient civilization? Could they contain the shared knowledge of the universe like a existential hard-drive? We go in search of the truth (or at least a good episode). Plus, Joe Peck is back to try his hand at being a Pueblo Spiritual Adviser. John won't let go of a bad joke. In 1966 an unassuming pair of couples went joyriding in the hills of West Virginia. They just thought they were out to have some fun with some friends and escape their hometown of Point Pleasant for a while. They were wrong. The following series of events sparked a national phenomenon that is still alive today – the legend of the MOTHMAN. From the descriptions of red eyes and 10 foot wings to the sightings of a flying man outside the famed Sears Tower in Chicago – this cryptid has permeated the cultural zeitgeist for over 50 years. But what is it? Is there truly a winged beast flying around the world as the harbinger of doom? Or are these sightings a combination of mass hysteria, military exercises and really big birds? We grab our binoculars, camera, and Audubon society membership cards as we go in search of the Mothman this week. Plus, are all the Mothman sightings really just Batman?
