Husker247 Podcast: Schedule chatter and o-line talk Jul 12, 2023

Show notes

Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson got together on Tuesday to chat about the latest happenings in Nebraska football as the Huskers first season under Matt Rhule inches a little closer.

On Tuesday after some obligatory baseball talk the two from Husker247 dive into the schedule a little as the question is posed — which game stands out for the 2023 schedule? From there it’s wondering which 50/50 game does Nebraska look destined to win, what game might be considered a trap game this season and which game might be the most difficult with where it falls on the schedule?

After a spirited schedule discussion — which featured a healthy amount of Michigan debate regarding JJ McCarthy — conversation shifted over to Nebraska’s offensive line.

Who is the X-Factor for Nebraska? Both hosts had different answers for which player could be most critical up front.

Finally the Mount Rushmore challenge emerges but this time with a twist.
