    The Husker247 Podcast resumed on Tuesday and hit on the topics that are on everyone’s mind these days — Bryson Webber’s commitment and NCAA Football 2025.

    Brian Christopherson breaks down the Webber commitment, why he stuck with Nebraska even after the coaching change, why the Huskers remain so high on the defender and other thoughts on the most recent addition.

    Conversation then shifts to where things stand with linebacker Will Hawthorne and how the Huskers are hoping to tackle some Kansas City recruiting efforts with the addition of Jamar Mozee on staff.

    Finally things finish up as Mike Schaefer walks through his NCAA 2025 experience, we learn which games BC used to play in his youth and the Huskers who have fair complaints over their low ratings. As a bonus both continue to hype up Nebraska-Colorado for early September.


    Husker247 Podcast: Cooper out, Butler in Jul 09, 2024

    Brian Christopherson and Mike Schaefer got together on Tuesday to discuss the latest news in Nebraska football, touching on Evan Cooper’s resignation, the anticipation of John Butler being named the next defensive backs coach and more on the room itself.

    To start with the two discussed just how much Cooper meant to Matt Rhule and the staff and why his loss is more than just changing out a position coach, particularly in regards to what he did in recruiting and with evaluation.

    From there the two conversed about Butler and how he transitions into the job and what he has waiting for him in the room.

    After a quick break the conversation continued but with a focus on the players in the defensive back room. Finally things finished up with a little recruiting talk.

    In the first segment, the guys discuss the most recent official visit weekend and where things stand for Nebraska.     The Husker247 Podcast returned on Tuesday to discuss Nebraska baseball’s regional effort and the season as a whole, how things stack up recruiting wise and then a discussion on which Nebraska game might be most important this season.

    Brian Christopherson and Mike Schaefer jumped right into a conversation about Nebraska baseball after the Huskers were bounced out of the NCAA tournament on Sunday. What went wrong? And what’s next for a program that made it back to the postseason for the first time since 2021?

    Husker247 Podcast: Baseball onto regionals; WR room looks stocked May 29, 2024

    The Husker247 Podcast returned on Wednesday to discuss Nebraska baseball and then switched to football where the guys got deep into the big change in the wide receiver room.

    Things started as Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson recapped the really strong week that was for Nebraska baseball, which concluded with a conference title and then an invite as the No. 2 seed in what looks like a loaded regional in Stillwater, hosted by Oklahoma State.

    The two broke down how the week played out, how Nebraska survived having to play the maximum amount of games following a poor Tuesday showing, how Josh Caron put on a display in Omaha that no one will forget any time soon and why the success could bode well as things turn to NCAA postseason play on Friday.

    From there the two switched sports and locked in on the wide receivers. What can Nebraska fans expect from this position? Well to know that it’s good to run through all the options and that’s essentially what the two did, discussing everyone from Jahmal Banks to Quinn Clark and all the options in between.
