    Kim “Kimfer” Flanery-Rye (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimflaneryrye/) is the Founder and Principal DEI & Culture Practitioner for Inclusion Equals, a social enterprise focused on the IDEA (Inclusion = Diversity + Equity + Accessibility) to build culture from the inside out. She believes that to address systemic issues in the world, we must tackle the inequities within organizational systems. Kimfer is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in a diverse background from marketing to organizational development. She is also an Adjunct Professor teaching Creativity and Innovation for MBA students and has her MBA in Executive Leadership. She has spoken on local, national, and international stages, including the 2022 and 2023 World Economic Forum, on critical topics such as the importance of women on boards and what it means for women to have power, authority, and agency.

    Rachel Rider (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rachellrider) founded MettaWorks in 2015 after a distinguished career in HR, receiving executive coaching certification from Columbia University, and extensive training in meditation, Somatic Experiencing, and Polarity Therapy. Starting as HR Business Partner responsible for developing and coaching leaders and teams at Bloomberg, she went on to specialize in leadership coaching at AppNexus (since acquired by AT&T) and Digital Ocean, the third-largest hosting company in the world. She studied under renowned teacher and Zen Mountain Monastery founder John Daido Loori Roshi for 13 years before continuing under his successor, Shugen Arnold Roshi. Rider completed a three-year intensive certification in Somatic Experiencing in 2018, and a 2020 training in Polarity Therapy with the aim of bringing leaders tools to unlock effective, long-lasting change in concert with the body. Since 2020, she’s been working intensively with anti-racism coach Makeda Pennycooke. Rider lives in New York with her husband and two children.

Brenda also manages the first year and sophomore components of VSB's Backpack-to-Briefcase professional development curriculum and oversees the SBI Professional Success course. She works closely to develop employer relationships to enhance business internship, CoOp, and job opportunities. Collaborating with the Villanova Career Center, the other VU colleges, and campus departments on a wide array of career and professional development initiatives.

    Kate Grady manages CoOp and Academic Internship opportunities and develops relationships with employers. Supporting students’ personal and professional development through career exploration and internship & job search processes. Partnering with the Academic Advising team to ensure alignment between students’ academic and professional goals, Kate collaborates with colleagues in the University Career Center, VSB Centers of Excellence, other campus departments and employers to create distinctive experiences for students.
