A darkly comedic tribute to the much-loved Reader’s Digest series ‘I am Joe’s…(insert body part here)’ and a bizarre parody of the Bruce Jenner story, I Am Joe’s Unwanted Penis is told from the point of view of a penis thoughtlessly discarded as a man is surgically transformed into a woman. Upon learning of his high-profile previous owner’s regret at having made the transformation, the penis embarks upon a perilous journey for them to be reunited - aided and abetted by a motley, wonderfully personable, and engaging selection of other discarded body parts. In parts grotesque, laugh-out-loud funny, and undeniably poignant, in others, I Am Joe’s Unwanted Penis is a buddy story absolutely like no other!

I have three novels out in 2016; the skin-crawling, creature horror; ‘‘Pede’ (published by Black Bed Sheet Books), ‘The Erotic Odyssey of Colton Forshay’ (a bizarro style fantasy, Fat Lip Press June 21, 2016), ‘And Then You Die’ – a particularly grotesque horror/bizarro story (published by J Ellington Ashton - TBA), and in 2017, ‘Flanagan’ - a psychosexual horror (Sinister Grin Press).

In addition, there are the short stories; (‘Winning & Losing’) published in The Ripple Effect (Horrified Press), ‘Road Trip Bingo’ (Black Bed Sheet Books’ anthology 'Bumps in the Road’), ‘The Five Towns Pageant’ (J Ellington Ashton ‘Full Moon Slaughter’, Halloween 2016), ‘Zombie Hooker: A Love Story (Fat Lip Press ‘Carnival of Gore’ anthology 2016) and ‘Trophy Wife’ (The Creeps magazine, date TBA).

I write screenplays and currently have three under option (a spine-chilling horror, a Tarantino-esque crime caper and an animated family movie). In 2014 I was commissioned by Spectra Records to write a biopic feature on the early life of Bob Marley and was a writer for hire on the Kenyan sitcom ‘The Samaritans.

As if that weren’t enough, I have written and directed a bunch of short movies, winning Best Director in the 2013 Splatterfest film competition and Remi awards at Houston’s Worldfest Film Festival in 2012, 2014 and 2015.

MIKE ROTHSCHILD - THE STORM IS UPON US Mar 15, 2022

On October 5th, 2017, President Trump made a cryptic remark in the State Dining Room at a gathering of military officials. He said it felt like “the calm before the storm”—then refused to elaborate as puzzled journalists asked him to explain. But on the infamous message boards of 4chan, a mysterious poster going by “Q Clearance Patriot,” who claimed to be in “military intelligence,” began the elaboration on their own.

In the days that followed, Q’s wild yarn explaining Trump's remarks began to rival the sinister intricacies of a Tom Clancy novel, while satisfying the deepest desires of MAGA-America. But did any of what Q predicted come to pass? No. Did that stop people from clinging to every word they were reading, expanding its mythology, and promoting it wider and wider? No.

Why not? Who were these rapt listeners? How do they reconcile their worldview with the America they see around them? Why do their numbers keep growing? Mike Rothschild, a journalist specializing in conspiracy theories, has been collecting their stories for years, and through interviews with QAnon converts, apostates, and victims, as well as psychologists, sociologists, and academics, he is uniquely equipped to explain the movement and its followers.

JOAN MELLEN - BLOOD IN THE WATER Mar 15, 2022

On June 8, 1967, the USS Liberty, an unarmed intelligence ship reporting to the Joint Chiefs of Staff under the auspices of the National Security Agency, was positioned in international waters off the coast of Egypt when it was attacked with deadly violence by unmarked jet planes firing rockets and machine guns and throwing napalm onto its deck. This ambush was followed by a torpedo strike that blew a forty-foot hole in the starboard side of the ship. Lacking the capacity to defend themselves, thirty-four sailors were killed and 174 wounded, many for life. By the end of the day, Israel had confessed to having been the aggressor, simultaneously arguing that the attack had been an "accident" and a "mistake."

The facts said otherwise. So intense and sustained was the attack - it lasted for nearly an hour and a half - so specific was the aiming for the antennae and satellite dish on deck, that it was scarcely credible that Israel's aggression was not deliberate; such was the view of Marshall Carter, the director of the National Security Agency, his deputy director Louis Tordella, and Richard Helms, the Director of Central Intelligence.

Based on interviews with more than forty survivors, knowledgeable political insiders, and Soviet archives of the period, investigative writer Joan Mellen presents evidence suggesting complicity between US and Israeli intelligence in the attack on Liberty and the more than fifty-year long cover-up. What were the underlying motives? Was this a false flag operation conducted in the midst of the Six-Day War? Was it conceivable that Israel would have initiated such an operation without a green light from the United States?

For the sake of justice, truth and the murdered and surviving sailors, this is a story demanding to be told.

A multi-published author, Sheila writes nonfiction books about handwriting analysis, and the award-winning Forensic Handwriting Mystery fiction series. Her Handwriting Analyzer software has been used around the world since the 1990s.

Sheila has taught Introduction to Handwriting Examination at the University of California Riverside campus in the CSI certificate program, Introduction to Handwriting Analysis at the UC Santa Barbara campus in the Discovery program, and has presented seminars to bank managers. She offers an online self-study course in gestalt graphology and lectures around the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

STONEHENGE AMERICA - DENNIS STONE Mar 15, 2022

What is America's Stonehenge?

Built by a Native American Culture or a migrant European population? No one knows for sure. A maze of man-made chambers, walls and ceremonial meeting places, at over 4,000 years old America's Stonehenge is most likely the oldest man-made construction in the United States.

Like Stonehenge in England, America's Stonehenge was built by ancient people well versed in astronomy and stone construction. It has been determined that the site is an accurate astronomical calendar. It was, and still can be, used to determine specific solar and lunar events of the year.

Various inscriptions have been found throughout the site including Ogham, Phoenician and Iberian Punic Script. Dr. Barry Fell of Harvard University did extensive work on the inscriptions found at the site. They are detailed in his book America B.C.

CALVIN PARKER - UFO ABDUCTION Mar 15, 2022

On October 11th, 1973 nineteen year old Calvin Parker and his friend forty two year old Charles Hickson were spending a frustrating evening fishing on the Pascagoula River in Mississippi. Both men loved to fish but tonight’s fishing trip would turn out to be one they would never forget. In the early evening both men were startled when a strange craft descended and hovered a few feet above the ground and just a few yards from their location. Before they had any chance to run an opening appeared in this craft and out ‘floated’ three humanoid creatures. Both men were absolutely terrified when these creatures grabbed them and took them aboard the craft. On the craft both men were subjected to an examination and at one point they were so terrified as they believed they were about to die. Minutes later both Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson were deposited back on the riverbank and the craft departed. Taking off in their car the two terrified witnesses eventually located a public telephone box and phoned the local sheriff. A short time later they were being interviewed at their local sheriff’s office. These two disorientated witnesses told their story of their close encounter and abduction by these strange creatures. The next day all hell was let loose as the press descended on this unsuspecting Mississippi town. Calvin Parker, seriously disturbed by these events, has largely remained in the background without ever detailing the full account of what happened that night, how it affected him and his life, and other close encounters he has experienced down the years. Now, for the first time, Calvin Parker tells his story in full. This book, Pascagoula – The Closest Encounter, tells the story of one of the classic close encounters currently on record. This book features for the first time the full transcript of Calvin Parker’s hypnotic regression session with the late Budd Hopkins, one of the world’s foremost researchers of this phenomena. The manuscript is also packed full of documents, newspaper cuttings and photographs old and new.

STEVE LUXENBERG - SLAVERY TO SEGREGATION Mar 15, 2022

Plessy v. Ferguson, the Supreme Court case synonymous with “separate but equal,” created remarkably little stir when the justices announced their near-unanimous decision on May 18, 1896. Yet it is one of the most compelling and dramatic stories of the nineteenth century, whose outcome embraced and protected segregation, and whose reverberations are still felt into the twenty-first.

Separate spans a striking range of characters and landscapes, bound together by the defining issue of their time and ours―race and equality. Wending its way through a half-century of American history, the narrative begins at the dawn of the railroad age, in the North, home to the nation’s first separate railroad car, then moves briskly through slavery and the Civil War to Reconstruction and its aftermath, as separation took root in nearly every aspect of American life.
