Show notes
Jim and A.Ron develop their thoughts on the season finale of HBO’s Game of Thrones, “The Lion and the Wolf”. Many were pleased, yet there are some lingering resentments. We try to talk through why we thought Cersei’s scheming, Sansa and Arya’s collaboration, and the Night King’s ultimate plan to cross the wall made a lot of sense both from a plot and character standpoint, but we definitely leave room for people who have trouble looking past how we arrived there. In the end, we both agree that the series is set for a thrilling and satisfying conclusion, and the DD’s have nearly twice the time to develop it. Will they succeed? Can Martin eventually do better? Join us next week as we wrap up our Season 7 coverage and try to answer these questions and more. And don’t forget Friday, as we delve into the deeper meanings and book implications for the events of this season! See you then.
