This week we enjoy an amazing conversation with multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winning actress Sharon Gless. Sharon is best know for her roles as Christine Cagney in Cagney and Lacey and Debbie Novotny in Queer as Folk but her first series role started in 1973. She has been nonstop acting since that time.

It is told with a witty dialogue as only Sharon Gless could tell it. Menopause: Our Stories Pt. 2 Nov 24, 2021
    Show notes

This week Colleen and Bridgett are doing things a little different. After many requests for our personal experiences with perimenopause, menopause and midlife, we are updating our stories. We are also adding in a holiday cheer!

The episode will begin with our annual "Can Bridgett Guess the Cost?". Each year, we explore the Neiman Marcus Holiday Gift Guide (Extravagant Gift section) and Colleen shares a few of the most expensive gifts from the catalog. Bridgett then attempts to guess the actual costs of the items. From a custom Hummer to a 30 carat diamond, this year's items are even more luxurious. Try to guess along with Bridgett and see how you do.

We also talk about what is happening in our midlife journeys. Bridgett's periods made an appearance again after 6+ years and she explains why and what she has done about it. Colleen's night sweats are back with a vengeance and menopause is still a lofty goal far from reach. We are honest with a little touch of humor. Migraine Relief: Make Midlife Easier with CEFALY Nov 13, 2021
    Show notes

Our bonus episodes in November are featuring products that we believe help make midlife easier. Today we are talking to the CEO of Cefaly, Jen Trainor McDermott. CEFALY is the only over the counter medical device that treats active migraine attacks and helps to prevent future attacks.

Most migraines involve the trigeminal nerve, the largest and most complex cranial nerve. CEFALY sends tiny electrical impulses through a self-adhesive electrode placed on the forehead to stimulate the trigeminal nerve, reducing the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks.

    There are two settings:

    • 60-Minute ACUTE Treatment - Use at the onset of or during a migraine attack to stop or reduce migraine pain.
    • 20-Minute PREVENT Treatment - Daily preventative treatment sessions can reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine symptoms.

You can find Cefaly in our HFCT Holiday Gift Guide in the link below and use HOT10 for 10% off.
