I had a short series called "Girlfriends Guide to Grief" on this podcast as I walked through the early stages of losing my husband.
As I was praying this morning about the podcast and what I should do next, I was reminded and wanted to let you know where things are now. In this episode, I talk a little bit about where I am now and some of my favorite things that help me not only get through each day. I've made changes in my personal eating, fitness, and health that has helped me to get where I am now.
These changes have been huge for me now that I'm 51 and just dealing with the things that most women deal with as we age. I have found that it doesn't have to all be bad, we just have to do things differently.

Building Steadfast Strength is the topic Mindy spoke on at The Boldly Conference. Boldly is the conference for women who are driven in work and anchored in faith. At this annual gathering, the divide between sacred and secular is fiercely dismantled and women are encouraged to see their work as a vital part of God's story. Because your work matters! And we believe that when faithful, working women unite, the result is a generation of women boldly partnering with God to see His Kingdom come.
Mindy has spoken twice at Boldly and this year was all about being Steadfast. As hard as it is at some points, grueling at other times, building steadfast strength only comes as we go THROUGH struggle... not around it.
