S03E18 - Death on the Line Dec 28, 2020

Show notes

Happy Blue Year's Eve! This month we're talking about a low point in the show: Death on the Line. The creative team behind T.J. Hooker are in over their heads trying to cover a rape / murder / robbery duo in the form of two telephone pole linemen. We instead mostly end up talking about house fetishists and of course, our pitch for a new Air Bud movie. Air Bud: Dog Podcaster. Stay safe, we'll see you in 2021.

S03E17 - Hot Property guest starring Donald J. Trump Nov 30, 2020

Show notes

The one with the 45th President of the United States.

S03E16 - Hooker's Run guest starring Stephen Sajdak Oct 27, 2020

Show notes

Stephen Sajdak (We Hate Movies) joins us in the squad car. Tom Atkins (Halloween III: Season of the Witch) guest stars as our authority figure of the month to be thwarted by the mighty Hooker. Not only that, his old pal, Alex Rocco, is not one to be trifled with either. It all comes to a head with T.J. building a Mad Max style battle van in a surreal yet duller episode.

S03E15 - Exercise in Murder Sep 29, 2020

Show notes

T.J. Hooker shoots a kid. Corrigan is briefly in a relationship with a woman who is being blackmailed over pornography. Until she dies. But hey, the kid lives. The tonal shifts are so raucous that the episode even forgets to flesh out the criminals of the week, which include Robert Davi! S03E14 - The Snow Game Aug 30, 2020

Show notes

We're back in a decomissioned squad car! To make a donation to the charities mentioned on today's show check out this ActBlue Link. Remember to enjoy a ridiculous show like T.J. Hooker responsibly. This is not real life and this show and shows like it help perpetuate the ideals that favor police over citizen. If you disagree with some of the sentiments expressed please make time for internal reflection. On today's episode! SNOW GAME! It's a Scarface riff wherein Teej and the gang go undercover, but perhaps too far undercover. Directed by William Shatner.

S03E13 - The Lipstick Killer May 30, 2020

Show notes

On this exciting edition of T.J. Hooker our hero (question mark?) faces up against a serial killer right out of a 80's slasher film and that makes sense since this is our first episode in 1984! Who wins in this battle of horror? The Maniac Cop or the Psycho who dresses like his mother and hits women with mallets? Plus Stacy Sheridan's love life and let's pour one out for Divorced Guys. This is an insane episode we encourage you to check out before listening! Also consider making a donation to an organization such as the Minnesota Freedom Fund or anyone helping out protestors right now.

And some lockdown movie recommendations. Stay safe, hotshot blue suits!

S03E10 - Blue Murder Feb 28, 2020

Show notes

We got some rotten apples in the Los Santos Police Department! That's right, there's vigilantism afoot and we all know T.J. Hooker cannot stand for cops who go rogue, unless it's him! That's his thing, not theirs! It's no fair they get to kill people and T.J. wasn't invited! I just don't understand how you cannot invite T.J. Into this cabal of murder and death. Oh, right. This is a written description for a podcast and not a podcast itself. Also a racquetball scene!

S03E09 - A Matter of Passion Jan 27, 2020

Show notes

On this thrilling edition of the podcast Eric and Ben square off in regards to their famous Twitter falling out. T.J. Hooker discovers a corpse on the beach, which he uh... falls in love with? We agree this is a great episode you should try to see for yourself! All clues (twinkle noise) end up leading towards Dean Wormer from Animal House (John Vernon in a great guest starring role.) Also the Safari Inn gets destroyed and so much more.
