This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of The Walls of Jericho. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Joshua 5. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Joshua. Joshua was the leader of the Israelites who God used to bring His people to the Promised Land.

When God told Joshua it was time to take the Promised Land, Joshua sent spies into the city of Jericho. While those spies were in Jericho they were protected by a woman named Rahab. The spies promised to spare Rahab and her family when they took back the land. And she hung a scarlet chord from her window to remind them of their promise.

Now the Israelites had crossed the Jordan and were camped near the town of Jericho. One day Joshua looked up and there was a man standing before him. The man said, “I am the commander of the army of the Lord.”

Joshua asked what the man wanted to tell him and the Lord said that he wanted Joshua to take the city of Jericho but that Joshua needed to follow his instructions exactly.

Now Jericho was shut up for fear of the Israelites. No one came out and no one came in. So the Lord told Joshua to gather his soldiers and march around the city for six days. The priests were to take the arc of the covenant and seven priest were to go in front of it blowing a ram’s horn.

On the seventh day they were to march around the city seven times and blow the horn. Then all the people of Israel were to give a great shout. And then the city walls would fall.

So Joshua said, “Shout for the Lord has given you the city.” And the people did shout and the walls did fall. The Israelites overtook the city of Jericho as God had commanded. They remembered Rahab because of her faithfulness.

Now Joshua was faithful in carrying out God’s commands. And the Israelites took many other cities as God told them they would. For God will never fail to fulfill His promises. So the Israelites came to live in the land that God had promised their fathers Abraham, Issac, Israel, Joseph, and Moses many years ago.

This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of Joshua and the Israelites Cross the Jordan. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Joshua 3-4. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Joshua. Joshua was the leader of the Israelites who God would use to take His people into the Promised Land.

Joshua readied his people to cross the Jordan River which was the only thing dividing the Israelites from the land that God had promised to them. They camped beside the river for 3 days waiting just as the Lord had commanded them. At this time of year, the Jordan River was flooded and flowing with so much water that it was impossible to cross on foot.

God told Joshua to tell the people that the priests would carry the Arc of the Covenant and lead the people through the water. He told the priests to step into the rushing waters and when they would do this the waters would stop flowing.

And as soon as the priests did this, the water of the Jordan did stop flowing and the priests stood with the Arc of the Covenant on dry ground as the Israelites crossed to the other side.

God told Joshua to send 12 men from the 12 tribes of Israel to take 12 stones from the place that the priests were standing.

When all this had been finished as God commanded, Joshua called the priests from the Jordan. As their feet left the Jordan River, the waters came back into place just as they had been.

They brought the stones to their camp and set them as a memorial so future generations might remember the story of how God brought His people through the Jordan River on dry ground.

This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of Moses and the Tent of Meeting. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Exodus 33: 7-11. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Moses who was an Israelite who grew up in the palace of the Egyptian Pharaoh. When Moses was much older, God called him to take His people out of Egypt with the help of his brother Aaron.

After God showed His miraculous power in Egypt, He led the Israelites through the Red Sea and towards the Promised Land. They followed God who showed himself as a cloud by day and fire by night.

While they were in the wilderness, God and Moses would talk in a place called the Tent of Meeting. Moses would take the tent and pitch it outside the Israelite camp. Everyone who wanted to ask God for something would go to the Tent of Meeting outside the camp.

Whenever Moses went out to the Tent of Meeting, all the people would watch Moses until he disappeared inside. As he went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and hover at its entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses. Inside the Tent of Meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, just as one speaks to a friend.

And because of what Jesus did on the cross, we can talk to God as if we are talking to a friend too.

This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of Moses In The Wilderness. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Exodus 14-24. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Moses. Who was a Israelite born in Egypt in a time where Israelite boys were not supposed to live. Moses however grew up in the palace of the Pharaoh, the very man who was enslaving the Israelite people.

When Moses grew up, he made a big mistake and fled Egypt to live with the Midianites. But God called Moses back to Egypt to deliver His people with the help of his brother Aaron.

After God showed his miraculous power in Egypt, he led the Israelites through the Red Sea and towards the Promised Land. They followed God who showed himself as a cloud by day and fire by night.

As God led them through the wilderness, the Israelites became thirsty and hungry. They complained to Moses and Aaron and said, “If only we had died in Egypt!”

God said to Moses that he would provide for his people. And each night God gave them meat. But God told them to only take what they needed for the day. The people ignored God and took more than what they needed and the food went bad.

The people were still thirsty and they were mad at Moses saying, “Did you bring us out here to die of thirst!?” So Moses cried out to God and God told Moses to strike a rock and water came flowing out of it for the people to drink. And so the Lord provided for his people’s needs.

After traveling in the desert for 3 months, they came to Mount Sinai and God called Moses from the top of the mountain. God spoke to Moses there of the future of his people and reminded him of the miracles of the past.

After 3 days, there was thunder and lightning, as a thick cloud covered the mountain. The people heard a loud trumpet blast.

And Moses led the people to the foot of the mountain to meet with God. God called Moses and Aaron to meet him at the top of the mountain.

God told them how His people were to live and how they were to honor him and respect each other. These rules that God told them are called the 10 commandments. The Israelites had seen for themselves that God had spoken to Moses from heaven. And the Israelites feared God, for his mighty power had brought them out of slavery and provided for them in the desert.

This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of Joshua and Caleb. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Numbers 13-14:1-38; Joshua 1:1-9, 3:17. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Joshua and this is Caleb. Joshua and Caleb were some of the Israelites who followed Moses out of Egypt into the wilderness to find the land that God had promised them. Sometime after that, God told Moses to send out men to explore the Promised Land which was called the land of Canaan. So Moses sent a leader from each of the 12 tribes of Israel and Joshua and Caleb were among them. Moses told them to go see what the land was like and find out if the people living there were strong or weak. He told them to bring back a report of all they found.

So the 12 men went and explored. While they were there, they found that the land was very good for crops. They found a single cluster of grapes that took two men to carry! After 40 days, they returned to Moses and showed them the fruit they found. They said it was a land flowing with milk and honey and that it was a good land. But they also said that the people living there were powerful and that their cities were strong. They even saw giants there!

But Caleb said, “Let’s go at once to take the land! We can certainly conquer it!” But the other men who were with him disagreed and spread the bad report all throughout the Israelite camp.

This made the Israelites cry all through the night. They told Moses and Aaron that they wished they had died in Egypt or in the wilderness and asked for a new leader who would take them back to Egypt. Moses and Aaron fell face down on the ground. Joshua and Caleb tore their clothing. Joshua and Caleb told the people, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. Do not rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!”

But all the Israelites talked about hurting Joshua and Caleb. Then God’s presence appeared to the Israelites and God spoke to Moses. He was angry at the Israelites and said to Moses, “Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?” God said that he would make a new nation from Moses and that the Israelites would be no more. But Moses asked God to forgive the people and God said he would, but that the people would wander in the wilderness for forty years and none of the people would enter the Promised Land except for Joshua and Caleb.

The people did wander for forty years. Moses died and Joshua became the new leader of the Israelites. The time came for Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land that Joshua and Caleb had scouted many years before. Joshua led the people, including Caleb, into the Promised Land for God was with him wherever he went.

Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Moses, who was an Israelite born in Egypt in a time where Israelite boys were not supposed to live. Moses however grew up in the palace of the Pharaoh, the very man who was enslaving the Israelite people.

When Moses grew up, he made a big mistake. So Moses ran away from Egypt to the land of Midian. Many years later, God called Moses back to Egypt to rescue His people with the help of his brother Aaron.

The Pharaoh did not want to let God’s people go and God showed His power throughout all Egypt by sending plagues. Even with all the suffering, Pharaoh’s heart stayed hard and he would not let the people go. On the night of the last plague, Pharaoh woke up and heard a great cry in Egypt, for there was not an Egyptian house in which someone was not dead.

Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and told them to leave Egypt with the Israelites. So the Israelites immediately left Egypt and made their way for the Promised Land taking with them many riches from Egypt. They took Joseph’s bones as they had promised him many years before. God led them by a pillar of fire by night and a cloud by day. God told Moses to have the people camp along the shore of the Red Sea. God told Moses that the Egyptians would come after them, but that God would show His glory and power through this.

When word reached Pharaoh that the Israelites had gone, Pharaoh changed his mind and readied his army to take back the Israelites. The Egyptians found the Israelites camped along the shore of the sea. As Pharaoh and his armies came close, the Israelites panicked! They cried out to God and asked Moses, “Why did you bring us out here to die in the wilderness?”

But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

Then God said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!” As night came, the pillar of cloud became fire and it went between the Israelites and the Egyptians.

Then Moses raised his hand over the sea and God opened a path through the water with a strong wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!

Then the Egyptians chased the Israelites into the middle of the sea. But just before dawn God looked down on the Egyptian army from the pillar of fire and cloud, and He threw their forces into total confusion. “Let’s get out of here—away from these Israelites!” the Egyptians shouted. “The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt!”

When all the Israelites had reached the other side, God said to Moses, “Raise your hand over the sea again.” Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the water rushed back into its usual place. The Egyptians tried to escape, but God swept them into the sea.

That is how God rescued Israel from the hand of the Egyptians that day. When the people of Israel saw the mighty power that God had shown against the Egyptians, they were amazed. They put their faith in God and in His servant Moses.

This is Moses. Moses was a Israelite boy born in Egypt in a time when Israelite boys were not supposed to live. The Israelites were slaves to the Egyptians. But God had a special plan for Moses and he spent his childhood in the palace of the Pharaoh.

When Moses grew up, he made a big mistake. Pharaoh found out what Moses had done and he tried to have Moses killed. So Moses ran away from Egypt.

He stopped in the land of Midian and seven sisters came to the well to give water to their father’s flock. Some shepherds came to drive them away but Moses stood up for the women.

Now these sisters were the daughters of the Midianite priest named Jethro. When Jethro heard what Moses did for his daughters, he sent for Moses. So Moses came to live among the Midianites and he married Zipporah, one of Jethro’s daughters.

Meanwhile back in Egypt, the old Pharaoh died but he was replaced by a new Pharaoh who continued to treat the Israelites poorly. The Israelites cried out to God because of the terrible things that the Pharaoh made them do. God heard this people and knew it was time to act.

One day Moses was tending Jethro’s flock when an angel of the Lord appeared to Moses through a burning bush that would not burn up. Moses stopped to look at the bush and he heard the voice of God say, “Moses, Moses.”

God then told Moses how sad he was because of the suffering of his people. He told Moses that he wanted to do something about it and he wanted Moses to be the one to do it.

But Moses did not think that he was the right person to go.

God said, “I will be with you.”

But Moses said that he wouldn’t know the right thing to say to the people. So God said to tell the people that God himself had sent him, and promised Moses that his plan would be fulfilled through Moses.

But Moses still said to God that he did not think the people would believe him.

So God said, “What is that in your hand?” Moses said, “A staff”

God told Moses to throw it on the ground. Then God told Moses to catch it.

God showed Moses another sign and told him to show these signs to the people if they didn’t believe what he said.

Moses still didn’t think he would have the right words to say. But God said that he, himself, was the one who made a man’s mouth and gave him the ability to speak so there was no need to worry.

Yet even after all this, Moses said, “God please send someone else!” Then God got mad at Moses and said that he would send Moses’ brother’s Aaron to speak for Moses.

So Moses went back to his father in law and told him that he needed to go back to Egypt. Moses and his family started their journey back to Egypt. And Moses carried the staff of God in his hand for this staff would be the tool God would use to demonstrate his awesome power to the Israelites and to the Egyptians.

This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of Baby Moses. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Exodus 1-2. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible animation is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Moses. Moses was a descendent of Joseph’s brother Levi. Joseph and his brothers had many children and grandchildren who lived happily in Egypt.

Eventually, a new Pharaoh came to power who knew nothing of Joseph or what he had done. This Pharaoh feared the Israelites because of there were a great number of them living in Egypt. So he wanted to put a stop to their prosperity.

Pharaoh made the Israelites slaves, he made them work long hard hours building up Egyptian cities. But his plan didn’t work, and the Israelites grew more in number and strength.

So Pharaoh made a rule that no Israelite boy would be allowed to live in Egypt. This is where Moses’ story begins.

When Moses was born, his mother saw that he was a special baby and she kept him hidden for three months. But when she could no longer keep him a secret, she made a basket and put him in the Nile River among the reeds.

Moses’ sister stayed to watch what would happen to her baby brother, and soon the Pharaoh’s daughter came to the edge of the river. When she saw the basket, she sent her servant to get it.

When she saw the baby she felt sorry for him thinking that he must be a Israelite baby who wasn’t supposed to live.

Then Moses’ sister asked the princess if she would like her to find a Israelite woman to take care of the baby.

So Moses’ sister went and got her mother. Moses own mother took care of him until he was old enough to live in the Pharaoh’s house where the princess adopted him as her son. And so Moses, a Israelite boy who wasn’t supposed to live, became the adopted grandson of the Pharaoh and lived in the palace as God prepared him for a great destiny that was only just starting to unfold.

This Bible story podcast for kids tells the story of Joseph forgiving his brothers. We referenced the following Biblical passages: Genesis 42-45. Hey-O Kids Curriculum’s primary goal with the Stories of the Bible is to tell the stories from God’s word accurately and in a way that is engaging to children of all ages.

This is Joseph, who was the son of Israel and Rachel. But he had 11 brothers who hated him and sold him into slavery. After being put in jail, Joseph told of the future of Egypt when he interpreted Pharaoh's dreams. And Joseph found favor with the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh made Joseph a leader in his kingdom.

Just as Joseph had told the Pharaoh, Egypt had 7 years of abundance. Then the 7 years of abundance came to an end, and the 7 years of famine began, just as Joseph had said. But the Egyptians had food to eat because Joseph had planned for the famine. There was famine in all the other lands, and many came to Joseph to buy food. There was even a famine in the land that Joseph came from.

So when Israel heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent his sons to buy some. But Israel did not send Benjamin with the others, because he was afraid that harm might come to him.

When Joseph's brothers came to him, Joseph recognized them but he pretended to be a stranger. But the brothers did not. So Joseph decided to test his brothers. He had his interpreter tell them to send for Benjamin, who had stayed home.

And then he threw his brothers in jail for 3 days. On the third day, Joseph let all but one of the brothers take grain to their starving households with the instruction to bring Benjamin back with him. But Joseph provided for his brother’s journey and gave them grain and silver.

The brothers did exactly as Joseph instructed, as they were scared that God was punishing them for what they had to done to Joseph so many years before. They traveled home to their father's house then back to Egypt.

Now that he had seen that they brought Benjamin Joseph was overwhelmed at seeing his brother for the first time. So he released the brother who was still in prison. But Joseph decided to play one more trick on his brothers.

He sent the brothers away but told his servant to hide his silver cup in Benjamin’s bag. Then Joseph told the servant to go after the brothers and retrieve the cup. The brothers hadn’t traveled far before the servant stopped them and accused them of stealing the cup. And the brothers denied it. The servant pretended that he didn’t believe them and the brothers emptied their sacks to show that they were without blame.

Joseph could no longer control himself before his attendants. He made them leave so he could be alone with his brothers. And he told his brothers who he really was. He told them of his life and all that he had experienced and he forgave them for what they had done. God was with Joseph and took care of him and showed him favor.
