To night the team goes over
Discuss the pros and cons of various pairing methods, and ones people prefer.
Some of the various methods I’ve come across are:
1) Assigned. Using Best Coast Pairings or some other method, players are matched up by assignment and assigned a table.
2) Pick Your Partner. Players are encouraged to pick someone to play against and they pick their table.
3) Line Matching. Factions line up facing each other, and your partner is the person you line up against.
4) Faction Table Matching. Players from one Faction pick their table, players from the other Faction pick the person or table they want to play.
4) Zone Matching. A map is used, with each zone representing a table. One Faction places a model on the zone (table) they want to play. The other faction then places a model in the zone for the army they want to face off against.
5) Mission Matching. Each table is assigned to a mission. Copies of the missions are handed to each Faction and the players decide which mission they want to play, and go to the assigned table.
These are the ones I’ve come across, but is anyone knows any others, add them to the listen for discussion.
Thx Will!
