Stop Seeking Validation and Start Seeking God Oct 13, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel shares what it really looks like to live for an audience of One and why true freedom begins when we stop seeking people's approval and start living to please God.

We live in a world obsessed with recognition, validation, numbers, and being seen. But what happens when the applause stops? When God calls you to do something nobody understands? Or when obedience requires you to walk away from what everyone else expects of you? Walking with Jesus means choosing His approval over the world's applause, even when it costs you comfort, recognition, or acceptance.

In this episode, we talk about:

✨ What it means to live for an audience of One
✨ Breaking free from people-pleasing and the need for validation
✨ Why being visible doesn't mean you're being valuable
✨ Choosing obedience when people don't understand your assignment
✨ What Noah teaches us about faith without recognition
✨ The danger of turning your relationship with God into a performance
✨ Why your private obedience matters more than your public reputation
✨ Honoring God through your work, business, and everyday life
✨ Learning to embrace seasons of rest, building, and consecration
✨ Finding freedom in God's approval instead of people's opinions

Maybe you've been so focused on what people think, what they'll say, or whether they'll support you that you've forgotten to ask the most important question: God, are You pleased with how I'm living?

You weren't created to spend your life proving yourself to people. You were created to know Jesus, glorify Him, and walk in obedience to what He's called you to do.

Stop trading eternal purpose for temporary applause.

Because at the end of it all, the goal isn't for people to see how great you are. It's for people to see how great your God is through you. 🤍

The Weapon May Be Formed but It WON’T Prosper Oct 06, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel shares what it looks like to trust God when the weapon has formed, the storm is real, and what you’re walking through doesn’t make sense.

Following Jesus doesn’t mean we won’t face opposition, pressure, betrayal, difficult seasons, or spiritual battles. Scripture never promises that the weapon won’t form. But when our eyes are fixed on Jesus, we can trust that the weapon does not get the final say.

In this episode, we talk about:

✨ Trusting God in the middle of the storm
✨ Why difficult seasons don’t mean you’re outside of God’s will
✨ What Joseph’s story teaches us about betrayal and God’s sovereignty
✨ Keeping your heart pure when people rise against you
✨ Why the weapon may form, but it won’t prosper
✨ Focusing on God’s victory instead of the opposition
✨ How pressure can increase your strength and capacity
✨ Taking negative thoughts captive and renewing your mind
✨ Trusting God instead of your feelings
✨ Why you don’t have to perform to earn God’s presence or love

Maybe you’re facing something right now that feels like opposition. Maybe the pressure is increasing, the battle feels heavy, or you’re wondering why God is allowing you to walk through it.

Don’t become so focused on the weapon that you forget Who already has the victory over it.

God is still in control. He is still fighting for you. And even what was intended for evil, He can use for good and for His glory.

The weapon may be formed, but it WON’T prosper. 🤍

This Is Why You Need to Seek God in Every Season Sep 29, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel shares a reminder we all need: our relationship with God was never meant to be seasonal.

It can be easy to seek God when we’re waiting for an answer, believing for a miracle, or walking through a difficult season. But what happens when the prayer gets answered? When the doors open? When life gets busy and everything is finally going well? God doesn’t only want to be the One we run to when we need something. He wants our hearts in every season.

In this episode, we talk about:

✨ Seeking God in both the valleys and the mountaintops
✨ Why our relationship with God should never be seasonal
✨ Seeking God’s heart instead of only seeking His hand
✨ Putting God first when life gets busy
✨ Inviting the Holy Spirit into every area of your life
✨ How to recognize when something has taken God’s place in your heart
✨ Discerning what God is doing in your current season
✨ Seeking God for who He is, not only for what He can give us
✨ Staying close to God after the prayer has been answered
✨ Why Jesus Himself is the promise

Seasons change. Circumstances change. Your schedule will change. There will be mountaintops, valleys, waiting, pruning, celebration, transition, grief, and greatness.

    But He remains the same.

Don’t just seek God until the breakthrough comes. Don’t just seek Him until the prayer gets answered.

Seek Him because He is God. Seek Him because you love Him. Seek Him because He is worthy. 🤍

Stop Fighting Battles that Belong to God Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel dives into Daniel 6 and what happens when obedience leads you straight into a battle you never expected to fight.

Following Jesus doesn’t mean we’ll never face lions. Obedience doesn’t guarantee comfort, and difficulty doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. Daniel’s faith didn’t keep him out of the lion’s den, but his relationship with God prepared him to face it. And the same God who was with Daniel in the den is with you in whatever you’re facing today.

In this episode, we talk about:

✨ What Daniel 6 teaches us about obedience and bold faith
✨ Why following God doesn’t guarantee a comfortable life
✨ Trusting God when the battle feels bigger than you
✨ Why you shouldn’t wait for the lion’s den to build intimacy with God
✨ How your private relationship with God prepares you for public battles
✨ Choosing obedience even when it costs your comfort
✨ Fighting from a place of victory instead of fear
✨ Why the presence of a battle doesn’t mean God has abandoned you
✨ Repentance and obedience as a lifestyle
✨ Trusting God to fight battles that were never yours to carry

Maybe there’s a lion in your life right now. Maybe you’re looking at something that feels impossible, intimidating, or completely beyond your strength.

But the lion doesn’t get the final word. God does.

Stop fighting in your own strength. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, stay obedient, and remember: you are not fighting for victory. You are fighting from a place of victory. 🤍

God Gave You a Testimony and He Wants You to Share it Sep 15, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel shares a powerful message about the testimony God has given you and why you were never meant to keep it to yourself.

God didn’t heal you, deliver you, set you free, and light a fire inside of you just so you could stay quiet about it. Your testimony carries power. You may never know what one conversation, one prayer, one invitation, or one act of obedience could plant in someone’s life. Our job isn’t to make the seed grow. Our job is to plant it and trust God with the increase.

If you’ve ever felt afraid, unqualified, or unsure of how to talk about Jesus, this episode is your reminder that you don’t need a platform, a perfect speech, or all the answers. You simply need to be willing to share what Jesus has done in your life.

God gave you a testimony. Don’t hide it. Someone else may find Jesus because you were willing to share it. 🤍

🎙️ Like, comment, subscribe, and share this episode with someone who needs the courage to stop hiding their light and boldly share what Jesus has done.

What Does Abiding in Christ Actually Look Like Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel shares what it actually looks like to abide in Christ and how the fruit we produce can reveal where we’ve been abiding.

Abiding in Jesus isn’t something reserved for quiet time, worship, or Sunday mornings. It’s a daily relationship with Him that follows us into our work, relationships, motherhood, decisions, and even the smallest moments of our day. And the beautiful part? We don’t have to strive to produce good fruit. Fruit is the result of staying connected to the Vine.

In this episode, we talk about:

✨ What it actually means to abide in Christ
✨ What the fruit in your life reveals about where you’re abiding
✨ Abiding in Jesus instead of striving for His approval
✨ How to invite God into the ordinary moments of your day
✨ Why good fruit is produced through relationship, not performance
✨ Learning to rest in the finished work of the cross
✨ Recognizing and accepting seasons of pruning
✨ Protecting your relationship and time with God
✨ Obeying God even when His direction doesn’t make sense
✨ Producing the fruit of the Spirit in everyday life

If you’ve been feeling distant from God, overwhelmed, anxious, rushed, or like you need to “do more” to be close to Him, this episode is an invitation to return to the Vine.

You don’t produce fruit so you can come to Jesus. You abide in Jesus, and He produces the fruit through you. 🤍

So ask yourself this week: What fruit am I producing, and where have I been abiding?

Why You Need to Know Your Identity in Christ Sep 01, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel shares a powerful message about knowing your identity in Christ and becoming so rooted in who God says you are that the opinions of people, difficult seasons, and attacks of the enemy can’t shake you.

The enemy will always try to make us question who we are, but when we know whose we are, we can recognize the lies, stand firm on the Word of God, and fight from a place of victory instead of defeat. Isabel reminds us that even seasons of pruning, testing, and rejection can be used by God to strengthen our faith, develop our character, and draw us deeper into Him.

If you've been walking through rejection, fear, doubt, spiritual warfare, or a season that has made you question who you are, let this episode remind you to return to what God has already spoken.

You are chosen. You are loved. You are seen. You are His. And you are who God says you are. 🤍

🎙️ Like, comment, subscribe, and share this episode with someone who needs to be reminded of who they are in Christ.

This Is Why God Calls Us to “Renew Our Minds Daily” Aug 25, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isabel talks about what it actually means to renew your mind and why this is something we have to intentionally walk out with Jesus every single day.

Not every thought that enters your mind is true, and not every thought is from God. Through Scripture, Isabel shares how to take every thought captive, recognize the lies of the enemy, and replace old patterns of thinking with the truth of God’s Word.

As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, the Holy Spirit begins transforming the way we think, respond, and see ourselves. But that transformation requires us to know God’s Word for ourselves so we can discern what is from Him and what isn’t.

In this episode, we talk about:

✨ What it actually means to renew your mind
✨ Why not every thought is from God
    ✨ Taking every thought captive
✨ Breaking agreement with lies from the enemy
✨ Replacing old thought patterns with Scripture
✨ How trials produce the fruit of the Spirit
✨ Knowing God’s nature so you can discern His will
✨ Finding freedom from thoughts that have kept you in bondage
✨ Learning to see yourself the way God sees you
✨ Why renewing your mind is a daily process

If you’ve been battling your thoughts, believing lies about yourself, or struggling to discern what is actually from God, this episode is for you.

You don’t have to believe every thought that enters your mind. Take it captive, bring it before Jesus, and let His truth have the final word. 🤍

God Wants to Set You Free from Comparison Aug 11, 2026
    Show notes

This week on the Her and Jesus Podcast, Isa gets real about one of the most subtle battles so many of us face: comparison. The thoughts that tell us someone else is more blessed, more successful, more attractive, further ahead, or somehow more favored by God can quietly rob us of our joy and distract us from the unique life God has placed in front of us.

In this episode, Isa shares how she has learned to recognize comparison as a lie of the enemy, bring it into the light, and fight it with the truth of God's Word. From relationships and success to appearance, calling, timing, and purpose, this conversation is a reminder that someone else's blessing does not take away from what God has for you.

We talk about finding your identity in Christ, celebrating others when they're blessed, trusting God's timing, guarding your heart against envy, and learning to stay focused on the race God has called you to run.

If you've been looking at someone else's life wondering, "Why them and not me?" this episode is for you.

God wants to set you free from comparison so you can walk confidently in who He created you to be. Stop looking to the right and left. Fix your eyes on Jesus, trust His timing, and run your race.
