En el programa de hoy Reinaldo (@RGZprints) estará conversando con Humberto Valdez (@humberto_el_valdez), artista plástico, educador y grabador mexicano nacido en Zacatecas y desarrollando su trabajo artístico en la Ciudad de México. Conversaremos sobre su infancia en el rancho en Jerez en una familia y comunidad de artistas para luego moverse a una vida de ciudad en la capital y empezar así una serie de viajes que moldearían no solamente su trabajo artístico sino también su sensibilidad social. En el programa de hoy Reinaldo (@RGZprints) estará conversando con Triana Parera (@triana_mx) Artista plástica y grabadora de origen mexicano actualmente produciendo su trabajo desde varias partes del mundo.Hablaremos sobre sus inicios en el dibujo y sus estudios en la Esmeralda en la ciudad de México donde fue introducida al grabado. Su paso por la Ceiba grafica como estudiante de la xilografía, metales y la litografía la adentró aun mas dentro del mundo de la gráfica, que luego influenció su trabajo pictórico. Al momento de esta conversación, Triana se encontraba en Alemania en una residencia artística. Para Triana el uso del dibujo, la escritura y la repetición nos invita como espectador a la meditación, llevándonos a un estado reflexivo que nos permita crecer a pesar de las restricciones de nuestra zona de confort. Con Ramón Paris conversaremos sobre sus inicios y su infancia entre Caracas y las llanuras del estado Barinas enriqueciendo su habilidad para el dibujo por medio de historias de espantos y aparecidos durante sus momentos de ocio. Kitchengs nos hablará sobre la dificultad de encontrar un lugar al cual pertenecer al venir de un padre músico norteamericano y una madre colombiana tras el vivir en distintos países y culturas. La importancia de la magia en las historias épicas y relatos que inspiran los libros de artista que ella desarrolla. Para luego conversar sobre las dificultades para encontrar el apoyo en una comunidad donde no se aprecia el crecimiento endógeno artístico y su motivación en el desarrollo del taller Higuera (@Higuera_estudio).

He has been working at the iconic press for thirty-one years as the director, marketer, and collaborative printer and he still speaks about printmaking with a romance as if they were on their first date.
