A Prayer For Surrender: Immersive Prayer Series : Daily Bible Study, Daily Devotional

In this first episode of our contemplative prayer series, we begin with Mary, the mother of Jesus. Through a guided, immersive experience, Rachael invites listeners to slow down and reflect on what it means to surrender fully to God. Using Mary’s quiet obedience as a framework, this prayer session is designed to help you experience Scripture in a personal, Spirit-led way. If you’ve ever wrestled with obedience or wondered how to trust God’s timing, this is a space created just for you.

    Summary Points:

    • What is contemplative prayer? It’s a guided prayer practice that helps you enter into Scripture and reflect deeply on God’s presence and voice.

    • Why start with Mary, the mother of Jesus? Her quiet surrender models a posture of trust, even when the full picture isn’t clear.

    • How does this help with spiritual growth? It invites stillness, spiritual attentiveness, and a renewed sense of obedience.

    • What makes this episode different? It’s not just teaching—it’s an experiential, immersive prayer encounter.

    • What will I walk away with? A sense of peace, a deeper connection with Scripture, and tools to listen for God’s voice.

    Soundbites:

“Obedience doesn’t always feel loud—sometimes it looks like stillness.”

“Mary didn’t need all the answers. She needed to trust the One who called her.”

“You don’t have to strive in this moment. You just have to be present.”

“God speaks even in the silence.”

“Breathe in His peace. Exhale your striving.”
