James chapter 2 verses 8-13
Last day of Challenge 2020 Post-conference Devotional Reflection Questions. We hope they were helpful!
1. Our prayer of assurance talked about how we can feel like the world is spinning out of control. Have you ever felt like this?
2. At the end of our prayer, we focused on the fact that Jesus is our shield, and He holds victory. This might look a little different than we imagine, and yet, He does not fail us in His promise. He does offer us security in Him. How does leaning on His faithfulness and the fact He holds everything together—and deeply cares for us— help you when you feel like everything is spinning out of control?
3. In our reading in James, the focus is on mercy—and the fact we do not get what we deserve because of the love of Jesus. Many times, we need mercy when our world feels out of control. God always promises to give it to us. In turn, we are to give that same mercy to others. Who can you show mercy to today or this week?
