Who doesn't want defensive lineman who records nearly 30 sacks in two two season? Well, the Bengals, I suppose. Paul and Jay react to Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 'President of Pressure', Shaquil Barrett's, comments about nearly being a Cincinnati Bengal, if not for supposed injury concerns. What does this revelation say about the front office? Is this one of the worst misplays by the organization? PDJ and JM examine Cincinnati's defense, and categorize each player at their positions based on how the team views them moving forward. The guys share their thoughts on the Stafford-to-Rams trade, and its league-wide implications. Before capping off the show, Jay dishes out stats about Cincinnati's history against quarterbacks with multiple Super Bowl wins, and a look at wide receivers available in free agency.

With the Senior Bowl on the horizon, Paul and Jay plunge into Cincinnati's strategy in Mobile, and who better to provide insight than the boots on the ground. Pro scouting director Steven Radicevic and college scouting director Mike Potts share their thoughts on this year's senior class and players who opted out. In desperate need of pass rushers, PDJ and JM highlight quarterback punishers that could fit in Cincinnati's scheme, plus Bengals' defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo also discusses signal caller crushers, how his defense can improve, seniors he's keeping an eye on and more. Head coach Zac Taylor then shares is perspective on the Senior Bowl, who he's intrigued by, the defense's top priority and more. In the lap of luxury from the breath-taking Candlewood Chateau (Suites), Jay catches up with Paul at the Reese's Senior Bowl. Before Jay drops the latest news from Mobile, Alabama, he and Paul react to the Bengals announcing new team uniforms will be revealed this Spring. The guys toss around some design ideas, and then discuss Jay's report from the Senior Bowl. The two establish the names in Mobile most closely associated to Cincinnati's draft strategy. After, the guys react to the swath of offense linemen available in this year's draft, and discourse about Northwestern tackle Rashawn Slater and Oregon tackle Penei Sewell in Cincinnati's future. The Bengals may control one of the draft's most valuable, pliable picks, with established and rookie quarterbacks taking to new teams in exchange for draft capital, and the option of trading their pick for a king's ransom, Cincinnati could go in multiple directions. Lastly, some worst to first stats.
Rundown:

(13:30) Senior Bowl update
(27:30) Sewell, Slater & QB carousel

Paul and Jay join forces via online video conferencing to map out Cincinnati's offseason offensive strategy. Before the two generals talk tactics, pincer movements and other schemes, Marion Hobby was appointed as the team's defensive line coach. Does this hiring move the needle in any way? Which offensive position should be the club's top priority? Well, duh, it's offensive line, that's a rhetorical question. That being said, who should the team target, could the team possibly overspend at the position, and what about developmental linemen like Penei Sewell, how would they potentially fit into the fold? PDJ and JM examine the remaining offensive positions and rank their importance to Cincinnati's needs. Lastly, another round of sad...wait...no, encouraging stats?! We have encouraging stats?
Rundown:
(5:00) Marion Hobby joins staff
(8:45) Offseason offensive strategy: offensive line
(30:00) Offensive tiers at other positions

You've gotta love the offseason! Cincinnati reunites with former offensive line coach, Frank Pollack. What positive strides can the Bengals make under Pollack's guidance? Is Bengals' offensive lineman, Billy Price's, excitement the collective sentiment from the team's locker room/o-line staff? How will Pollack contribute to the running scheme as he doubles as the club's run game coordinator? Jay spoke with Pollack, himself, about his new position, and his opinions about the squad. The guys discuss how Cincinnati should prioritize their offseason goals as well as share some advance team stats. Sound the alarm! Another Burrow rehab update incoming! PDJ and JM reflect on their recent conversation with Joe Burrow, and assess where he is in his recovery and his timetable to return. Twitter University enrollment ends soon, so if you're trying to earn your doctorate in speculative Twitter medicine, now's the time to sign up! Plus, the Browns and Bills finally exorcised their playoff demons, are the Bengals next in line? Is it time for Ben Roethlisberger to retire? And we answer your Twitter questions!

Welcome to the 2020 season wrap-edition of HTPG! Paul and Jay kick off the program discussing Cincinnati's decision to retain both head coach Zac Taylor and defensive coordinator Lou Amarumo, following the team's 4-11-1 end-of-year record. How surprised were the guys that the Bengals kept both coaches? Was this the right decision by Mike Brown? PDJ and JM ponder the likelihood of Cincinnati flashing drastic improvement in Taylor's third year. Is there history to support growth in a coach's third season? What would need to transpire in order to help Taylor's chances at a turnaround? Why isn't the team coaching the Senior Bowl? Is there an advantage/disadvantage to refraining from heading the practices? Is it inconsequential or detrimental for a member of an organization to leak information about staffing changes, much like a member of the Bengals' personnel did? The guys react to Joe Burrow's Tweet of approval in response to the organization keeping Taylor, and highlight potential offensive line coaching candidates.
Rundown:
(5:30) Zac's back, Lou's back, run it back
(25:30) Coaching turnaround & Senior Bowl
(45:30) Internal leak & Burrow Tweet
(1:02:00) Potential o-line coaching candidates

The Athletic's Baltimore Ravens wordsmith Jeff Zrebiec rejoins the program for the first time since the two AFC North club's first matchup. Zrebiec shares insight into Baltimore's playoff push, how Dez Bryant is being deployed on offense, Lamar Jackson's 2020 performance and Sam Koch's health.
