    Hawk Podcasts

He’s raw, unfiltered, unedited, authentic, vulnerable and sometimes annoying. His laugh is infectious, and he often engages in long periods of awkward silence. He will tell it like it is, and whether you’re on the left or the right he’s bound to make you uncomfortable at some point. But he will definitely make you think. A licensed, practicing trial attorney for the last 25 years, he brings his legal experience and knowledge to the news of the day and current events here at home to offer different perspectives and additional things to consider.

The Problem Is the Electorate - 77 Million People Saw All of It and Wanted More Aug 03, 2026
    Show notes

From there Hawk turns to what he sees as the deeper issue: the electorate itself. He argues that in 2024, voters had full knowledge of Trump's record, the attempt to overturn the previous election, the events of January 6th, the indictments and the New York felony convictions, and chose him anyway. For Hawk, that choice, not any single official, is the root of where the country now finds itself.

He is blunt that he sees no short-term fix. His view is that the results reflect the will of the people who turned out to vote, and that the same dynamics will outlast this administration. Hawk closes on a personal note about why he has chosen to live far from dense population, and signs off wishing viewers a safe week.

Hey MAGA: They Know You Are Dumb, Gullible and Easily Manipulated. Aug 02, 2026
    Show notes

The contrast is the whole story. Trump had repeatedly claimed he possessed photos and video of a 350-foot gash being cut into the pool, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum echoed that proof existed. Yet the dismissal filing attributes the damage to a defective installation that began failing almost immediately, and Hawk argues no criminal conduct occurred at all. He walks through why a prosecutor should never hold a national press conference without personally reviewing the evidence first.

Hawk connects it to a broader pattern: DC grand juries declining to indict in several high-profile matters, other indictments dismissed over alleged grand jury misconduct, and federal judges increasingly wary of DOJ representations. He argues the reflecting pool collapse, like the stumbles around the Comey and James cases, reflects a Justice Department pursuing targets without the evidence to back the charges, and predicts Pirro's standing is slipping.

Judge Box O’Wine Loses Again Aug 02, 2026
    Show notes

The government's own dismissal filing tells the story. According to the motion, it was only after the indictment that the Department of the Interior provided additional documents showing the damage to the reflecting pool stemmed from a flawed installation by a contractor rushing to finish before the America 250 celebrations, not from vandalism. The sealant had reportedly begun peeling almost immediately after the renovation. Hawk notes the filing tries to shift blame to the Interior Department, which he argues only underscores that felony charges were brought against an American without an independent investigation.

Hawk sets the dismissal against Donald Trump's repeated public claims that he had photos and video of a 350-foot gash being cut into the pool, evidence never produced. He places it in a pattern of high-profile cases out of the D.C. US Attorney's office that have stumbled, and argues it reflects what happens when prosecutorial power is used to pursue targets rather than evidence.

A Clown Show of Contradictions Aug 01, 2026
    Show notes

That reversal drew a sharp response. Senator Thom Tillis posted that despite Trump saying the fund was dead, he clearly intends to resurrect what Tillis called the payout pot, and that Blanche, whom Tillis considers qualified, likely will not be confirmed because of it. The Judiciary Committee vote is set for Tuesday, the same day as the Michigan Senate primary.

Hawk makes his recurring point: Trump could have pardoned the January 6th defendants in his final two weeks in 2021 but did not, and now wants to compensate them. He also connects the dismissal of the reflecting pool case, where the DC US Attorney conceded a lack of evidence, to a broader argument about a Justice Department stumbling through high-profile cases. He notes Blanche can remain acting Attorney General even without confirmation.

He Could Have Pardoned Them a Long Time Ago Aug 01, 2026
    Show notes

Hawk walks through the post line by line, noting that Trump could have pardoned those defendants during his final two weeks in office in 2021 but did not, and disputing Trump's characterization of the Mar-a-Lago search, which recovered classified documents under a lawful warrant. He argues this is why Cornyn and Thom Tillis want the fund and the related IRS provision killed in writing.

The second half turns to the Michigan Senate primary. With Dr. Abdul El-Sayed leading Representative Haley Stevens by double digits days before Tuesday's vote, and a Detroit debate poll putting El-Sayed at 95 percent, Stevens posted a heated late-night message attacking her opponent. Hawk reads it as a candidate coming undone, argues the roughly 50 million dollars in AIPAC-affiliated spending behind her has not moved the race, and questions how that message wins over El-Sayed's voters in a general election.

James Comey Owned Trumps DOJ - Inside the Collapsing Comey Case Jul 31, 2026
    Show notes

The details are remarkable. Comey's attorneys report that the Secret Service tracked his phone location without a warrant as he drove home from North Carolina, that roughly 209,000 items reading 8647, 8646, or 8645 have been sold on Amazon, and that figures who made far more explicit statements were never charged. The indictment was signed by a prosecutor who had been an assistant US attorney for two days, and the government's key witness reportedly showed clear bias and thought 86 was a restaurant term.

The centerpiece is the mob argument. To claim 86 is Mafia slang for murder, the government reportedly turned to former hitman Salvatore Sammy the Bull Gravano, who did not support the theory, and then to former Gotti prosecutor turned judge John Gleeson, whose sworn affidavit calls the claim preposterous. Hawk ties it to a broader pattern of courtroom losses and predicts this indictment is dismissed too.

AIPAC is a LIABILITY to DEMOCRATS Jul 31, 2026
    Show notes

Flanagan called AIPAC Craig's biggest career funder and pledged to refuse its money, saying the group labeled her a threat after she backed Bernie Sanders' resolution to block offensive arms sales to Israel. She noted meeting with AIPAC, J Street, and being endorsed by Bend the Arc. Craig countered that Flanagan was being disingenuous, citing Star Tribune reporting that Flanagan had met with AIPAC and submitted a position paper, and argued for a two-state solution while calling for a dramatic rebuild of Gaza with a rethink of US policy toward Netanyahu's government.

Hawk sets this against the polling: roughly 60 percent of Democrats now view the Israeli government unfavorably, and about 74 percent oppose further military aid, per AP-NORC, Pew, and NBC surveys. He notes endorsements cutting the other way, including Gretchen Whitmer for Stevens, and makes clear his criticism is of the current government, not Judaism or Jewish people.

Russia, Iran, the Michigan Debate, and Where the Hell Is Mitch McConnell Jul 30, 2026
    Show notes

On the campaign trail, Hawk covers the Michigan Democratic Senate primary debate, where a Detroit Fox affiliate's instant poll had 95 percent of viewers saying Dr. Abdul El-Sayed beat Representative Haley Stevens, who was pressed repeatedly on the roughly 46 million dollars in AIPAC-affiliated spending backing her.

He also digs into the growing questions about Mitch McConnell, unseen publicly for about six weeks, whose office has released two photos but no video or audio. Hawk lays out the August 4th Kentucky special-election deadline and argues a still image is not proof of a senator's capacity to serve. Rounding out the day: a preview of Anthony Fauci's Senate testimony before Rand Paul, a Fox segment on the Democratic Socialists, and retired Major General Randy Manner questioning whether Pete Hegseth can survive.

Kash Patel Is 0 for 2 on Defamation Suits and About to Go 0 for 3 Jul 30, 2026
    Show notes

The dismissal follows a Texas judge tossing Patel's case against former FBI official Frank Figliuzzi, whose on-air remarks the court called protected hyperbole. Patel has also sued the Atlantic and reporter over an article about his tenure, a suit Hawk expects to be dismissed as well, and he plans a separate video on that motion.

Hawk's larger point is about why these suits get filed at all. He compares them to Donald Trump's defamation claims against ABC and CBS, which produced large settlements despite what Hawk argues were weak legal footings, and suggests Patel is following that playbook without the leverage that produced those payouts. Along the way Hawk lays out the core principle that truth is an absolute defense to defamation, which is why many of these cases falter.

Fauci Derangement Syndrome Jul 29, 2026
    Show notes

Hawk makes a factual point often lost in the coverage: as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci had no authority to order anyone to do anything. The office advises the president and offers recommendations to states, and during the first year of the pandemic Fauci served under Donald Trump.

The heart of the video is the mortality data. Hawk walks through peer-reviewed research, including a University of California Irvine study finding that heavily Republican counties saw roughly 73 more deaths per 100,000 than Democratic-leaning ones, and a JAMA Internal Medicine study finding excess death rates about 15 percent higher among registered Republicans. He connects the gap to vaccination rates, mitigation measures, and trust in public health, and asks why the hearing is happening now given that Fauci was already pardoned.
