    Show notes

Emily and Becca are back to discuss and analyze what they believe is one of the greatest episodes of television ever to exist: season two episode seventeen ((As We Know It)). This is part two of two and Emily and Becca almost can’t believe how well this episode is written, directed, produced, edited and acted. They go over all the “full-circle” moments and all the tiny details that make this episode extraordinary.

In addition, they discuss the season two DVD bonus features including audio commentary by writer Shonda Rhimes, director Peter Horton (P. Hort), and Editor Ed Ornelas where they discuss how this episode came to be. They also examine the bonus featurette, “Creating Pink Mist,” a great explanation of how the bomb was created.

From the Izzie bombshell, to the nurse’s strike, all three of them loved it. Listen as they draw parallels between Meredith’s patient, Grace, and Ellis Grey, analyze the jaw-dropping Izzie storyline, and provide commentary on the new character, Sydney. Meanwhile, Cristina is getting into bar fights, Derek is still pinning over Meredith, and George is infiltrating the nurse’s strike.

    Show notes

In this installment, Emily and Becca go over season two, episode fourteen of Grey’s Anatomy (Tell Me Sweet Little Lies). George has a creepy old lady, who is also possibly a demon, as a patient. Oh and the nurses decide that they are tired of all this bullshit and go on strike. Also, don’t miss Meredith considering George less valuable than a dog, the horrendous outfits, Burke’s inability to figure out that Cristina is lying to him, and the HOTDOG EATING CONTEST AT LUNCH.

    2×11 Owner Of A Lonely Heart Sep 20, 2018
    Show notes

Emily and Becca analyze season two episode eleven of Grey’s Anatomy (Owner Of A Lonely Heart). The quintuplet story line continues and with it comes a beautiful metaphor about how the babies represent each of the interns. Izzie is in full bitch-mode complaining about Alex and no one really seems to care, George is forced to kind of face his feelings for Meredith, and Meredith & Derek continue to have sexually-charged conversations and make angsty eye-contact from across the room.

Alex has performance anxiety because Izzie is so out of his league. Cristina shows Burke her apartment which is basically just a landfill. And George continues to make weird references to Silence of the Lambs. Also, listen as Emily and Becca discuss why they think season two is Grey’s at the height of its power, begin to draw parallels between the quints and the interns, and analyze the dynamic of Meredith & Derek’s relationship this season.
