3. The Resurrection

1 Corinthians 15:17 (NIV)

Jesus was definitely alive at Point A.

“Jesus did exist, whether we like it or not.” —Agnostic Historian Bart Ehrman

His tomb was empty.

His disciples were convinced He appeared to them.

“I say unequivocally that the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ is so overwhelming that it compels acceptance by proof which leaves absolutely no room for doubt.” —Sir Lionel Luckhoo

John 1:12 (NASB)

Believe + Receive = Become

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13 (NASB)
