Clint Claasen: A peak behind the curtain of a CX Promoter Oct 16, 2026

Clint started racing in 2005 and quickly worked his way through the ranks, winning a Cat 1 XC National Championship in 2009 and turning pro in 2010 with numerous top national finishes and regional wins in all disciplines. Clint is known and respected as a contender in any race he enters; however, his image has risen above results alone. His work in the community developing other riders and organizing events shows he is committed to cycling and growing the sport he loves.

These days Clint leads Clipped in for Life, an organization he founded alongside his wife that does a whole host of cycling-related programming, race promotion, youth development, education, and more.

Clint is fresh off double wins in the single speed category at opening weekend of SAC CX and looking toward an excellent season racing and promoting.

Unless you've been under the biggest rock in the gravel world, you know Drew Dillman well. "Dizzle," as he's known on his main podcast, Bonk Bros., is famous for putting his foot in his mouth and saying some outlandish stuff -- all in the spirit of good laughs with his buds. After an amazing weekend in the Lost Sierra with 40 new friends at Beckwourth Peak High Camp I had to sit down with it's founder/owner Forest Baker to talk all things gravel in the Lost Sierra. We recap Lost & Found Gravel Grinder, look toward the start line of Bones to Blue Bikepacking race, and even chat a bit about the new FKT laid down at Tour Divide recently, a race Forest has completed twice. Paige Onweller: From P.A. to Podiums Apr 03, 2026

A former collegiate middle distance runner, Paige had only ever ridden a bike to rehab injuries until that all changed in 2020. A few events on Zwift followed by some TT's and then her first ever mass start gravel event in 2021 was the beginning of a beautiful journey on the podiums at Unbound, Rule of Three, Gravel Nationals, and more. Her big break came after a solo win at Big Sugar a few years back where he meticulous prep and calm confidence proved she is a woman to be feared on the bike.

I sat down with Paige at her home just outside of Bentonville, AK to talk all things gravel. Paige brings a unique perspective to the world of gravel given her long experience as a Physician's Assistant and a relative newcomer to the sport of cycling. We talked Valley of Tears, Mid South, cyclists and GLP-1's, plus a few games and fantasy drafts. Paige brings her scientific way of thinking to every decision on the bike and it was a treat to work through her process on everything from tire selection to race prep.
