Good Flight Passenger Doctor Bad Primary Care Doctor Mar 11, 2020
    Show notes

This week Tina is joined by Kevin with Art of Emergency Nursing podcast. They discuss the perplexing and tragic story of Dr. Vince Gilmer from North Carolina. Was Dr. Gilmer's actions caused by a head injury, mental illness, or was he just a very intelligent and manipulative person who tried to get away with murder? They also discuss an incredibly sad story of a woman who died after waiting in an ER with chest pain. However, are news outlets just spinning the story that way to make it seems more shocking? They close the story with a heroic act by a doctor while on an airplane, but this is not your typical "CPR for a heart attack" kind of rescue. You won't believe what this doctor did to save a man's life!
