I'm choosing Love

This Ain't My First Rodeo Feb 18, 2022

Show notes

... you say to yourself as you face another day. Think of everything, from your thoughts to challenging people, to the day's events and tasks like a bucking, mechanical bull turned to the 'expert af' setting, Your work is to stay 'on'. To keep your balance. To not forget God, or as Hafiz calls It, the Friend. No matter how wild the ride gets today, you feel the Friend's hand on your shoulder. You feel the Friend's kiss.
How would you feel right now if the Friend leaned in and kissed you? Made It's Presence known. You'd be smiling. You'd be glowing. You wouldn't be worrying, or complaining, or distracted. You'd be full here. Fully now. Fully alive. Fully thankful. Fully ready for the rodeo.
Let's go!
I Love you!

You don't need to go #1. You ARE #1. Feb 17, 2022

Show notes

Nicki Minaj tweeted, "Y'all. Let's start by saying: I don't need to go #1. I AM #1. There's a difference." Let's meditate on the omnipresence of 'I'. The One, without a second. The One who isn't in competition with any other One because there's only One.

Today's Quotes:
"You've been taught to practice Presence. I ask you to practice the Omnipresence. The presence is everywhere and you can only practice it everywhere. You cannot practice it in a spot. The moment you practice, I am God Here, and over there is a dictator, over there is a congressman, over there is a politician, over there is a journalist; but here am I, you're not practicing Omnipresence, you're practicing self-glory, self-indulgence, self-righteousness; and so the hardest part is to practice the every-where-ness of I. And that includes a lot of places you'd rather not see I in a human mind. And so you rise above that judgment and condemnation and limitation and malpractice. There stands I. I don't care what form or shape it appears in human sense, there stands I. And so you have I everywhere. You're opening the door of consciousness to I everywhere. And that's why justice is over there because I am over there. That's why quality is over there, because I am over there. And abundance is right where the lack is because I am over there. Always you see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, because all there is, is I..."
-Herb Fitch, Mystical I Talk 1
"All the money in the world is mine. Even the money in America."
-Maharajji
"Now when God plays hide and seek and pretends that he is you and I, he does it so well that it takes him a long time to remember where and how he hid himself. But that's the whole fun of it - just what he wanted to do. He doesn't want to find himself too quickly, for that would spoil the game. That is why it is so difficult for you and me to find out that we are God in disguise, pretending not to be himself.
But when the game has gone on long enough, all of us will wake up, stop pretending, and remember that we are all one single Self - the God who is all that there is and who lives for ever and ever."
-Alan Watts

Affirm: I Am Now Becoming All that I Am Supposed to Be Feb 16, 2022

Show notes

Affirm:
"I am willing to release the need to be unworthy,
I am now becoming all that I am supposed to be. "*
I am now becoming All. Periodt.
Every 'supposed to be' is a limitation. Every idea or concept you're aspiring to, no matter how beautiful or lofty, is just a thought. What you truly are is beyond imagination. Sway your way into the realization of the All and allow It to be all that It is. Allow It to define Itself and become your life. You just keep feeling It and trusting It. And smiling :)
Smile. Relax your shoulders.
I Love you,

Close the Language Door and Open the Love Window Feb 15, 2022

Show notes

In the presence of God,
your freedom is,
your blessing is,
your miracle is.
There are no ‘problems’,
just opportunities for you to close the door of your mind,
and to open the window of Love.
To instantly feel the Breeze and Light of the solution.
And then to look out and watch whatever you thought was a ‘problem’ become a blessing,
a blessing bigger than you can imagine.

Close the Language Door & Open the Love Window
-by Rumi

"There is some kiss we want with our whole lives,

the touch of Spirit on the body.

Seawater begs the pearl to break its shell.

And the lily, how passionately it needs some wild darling!

At night, I open the window and ask the moon to come

and press its face against mine.

Breathe into me.

Close the language-door,

and open the love-window.

The moon won’t use the door,

only the window."

Today's Quotes:
“Love is the absence of separation. I don't love others. I am the others. The sense of duality, which is a barrier to true love, must prevail so long as the apperception of truth has not occurred. Once individuality is surrendered, there is only total love.”
-Ramesh Balsekar (title quote)
"The universe only pretends to be made out of matter. Secretly, it is made out of love."
-Daniel Pinchbeck
“Love is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment. It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation.”
-Rabindranath Tagore
“Love is not an emotion. It is your very existence.”
-Ravi Shankar
“Life is love. All else is imagined confusion.
There is no one who doesn't live in love. There are few who realize it.”
-Byron Katie
"It is possible to live twenty-four hours a day in a state of love. Every movement, every glance, every thought, and every word can be infused with love.
We all have the seeds of love in us. We can develop this wonderful source of energy, nurturing the unconditional love that does not expect anything in return. When we understand someone deeply, even someone who has done us harm, we cannot resist loving him or her.
Happiness is only possible with true love."
-Thích Nhất Hạnh
“Love has nothing to do with another person. Love is Truth. Love is Beauty. Love is Self.
Finally all that is trustworthy is this immeasurable silent awareness that is the truth of who you are, that is love.”
-Gangaji

Smile, Beam, Trust. Everything is Right on Schedule. Feb 13, 2022

Show notes

Remember, you're only able to catch yourself mid-worry because you caught God's voice... because Grace caught you. The ability to become Aware, to become the Witness mid-thought, mid-worry IS Grace.
We think we're doing It.
We think we're practicing It.
But It's happening to us.
We're waking up as It.
Smile, Beam, Trust. Everything is right on schedule.

Today's Quotes:
"Hope, expectancy, and what the world calls faith—this all has to do with a future tense. God has no way of operating except now, a continuing now. “Now is the appointed time,” and this takes away from us the false sense of faith that God will meet our rent on the first of the month.
It helps us to realize that God does not operate in the future, because that takes away from us the false sense of expectancy and the false sense of faith it gives us. “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” so omnipresent I is a continuing experience, but not one that begins tomorrow. If faith has anything to do with anything beyond this moment it is not faith at all. You may say that you will not have fruit on your fruit trees until next month; but I say to you—if the law is not operating in your trees now, there never will be fruit. It is only the operation of the nowness that brings fruit in its season. It is what is happening in the tree now that determines the fruit to be on the tree. So it is, that which is taking place in our consciousness now determines the fruitage in our bodies, in our pocketbook, in our family, in our life—next week, next month, next year. "
- Joel Goldsmith 'Consciousness Transformed' (pp. 114-116). Acropolis Books, Inc..
"This life is about finding a way to be in the world that connects you to your Soul."
-Ram Dass
"And now these three remain: faith, hope, love, but the greatest of these is Love."
-1 Corinthians 13:13
"The present moment is the only moment available to us and it is the door to all moments."

Today's Quotes:
"Everything through this point in my life has found a way.
And that was when I wasn't 'even operating at my best.
Which is how I know that everything I'm tussling with now will also find its way.
Even better than before, considering this new space of alignment.
I trust in my Divine unfolding.
I will not boggle my mind with unnecessary noise.
If I were to be stripped of all thought,
I'd be left with tranquility and peace. Thats my natural disposition.
All is well,
and I'm thriving.
This is my new truth. "
