314: Coverage Conundrum Jan 29, 2019

Show notes

On this episode, Maria and Meghan dive into the mailbag to answer questions from listeners. The big one? What do they think about the potential future of no Grand Prix coverage? Nothing has been officially confirmed (except the loss of text coverage) so our hosts answer hypothetically about a world where GPs fly far, far under the radar. PLUS: hot new Standard decks after SCG Indianapolis (Maria goes Midrange?!), draft tips following GP New Jersey, and our first Ravnica Allegiance segment of “What is This Card?!” that’s so great, you’ll want to yell along with them. SPECIAL BONUS: Meghan can’t form words on this episode. It’s great.

What cards stood out to them as great? Which stood out as terrible? Find out! PLUS: Thoughts on Arena’s Best of 1 meta game as we all get ready to give Best of 3 a go in the new season, a brand new set brings some brand new Movie Pitches, and Maria doesn’t like a 5/5 for 5?
