Orlando Montiel, along with his brother Daniel started the Montiel Organization, which has coached over 8500 agents to date. Their passion and coursework have truly elevated the level of training in our industry and to be able to do that in both English & Spanish has expanded the level of service internationally. He is not only one of the top coaches in our industry, but also a published author and celebrity host of his own show on Univision, reaching millions of people on a regular basis. I was honored to have him on my show and to call him a friend.
More About Orlando Montiel:
In 2007, after realizing that according to the National Association of Realtors less than 5% of all real estate agents have formal real estate sales training, Orlando Montiel founded The Montiel Organization, LLC .
In his leadership role, Mr. Montiel continues his pursuit to help real estate agents set their businesses for profit, automation, and growth so its members can reach their lifestyle goals.
Mr. Montiel has trained over 8,500 real estate agents and performs over 120 real estate live events per year for some of the leading organizations in the country including; The Miami Realtors Association, the largest realtor’s association in the country, Coldwell Banker, EWM, Century 21, Remax, Douglas Elliman, and Keller among others.
In 2005, Mr. Montiel published the book “Real Estate in Florida” a Practical Guide to Buying and Selling Real Estate, in Spanish and in 2008 Paz Económica, his latest publication released in early 2016 is “The Ultimate Real Estate Agent Book” where he reveals the secrets of the top agents in the country closing more than 75 million in sales and in excess of 100 transactions per year.
He is the host of The Miami Real Estate Show where he interviews the top agents in the country. He is also the “on-camera talent” for Univision and MasterCard in the roll of financial advisor and real estate expert, he also held the same position in Telemundo from 2005 to 2009. He has been a guest speaker on the topic of real estate in several opinion programs in Latin America as well as in the U.S.A.
About Michael Valdes:
Michael Valdes is the newly named President of eXp Global at eXp Realty. Previously Michael was the senior vice president of global servicing for Realogy Corporation, one of the world's largest real estate companies and parent to Coldwell Banker, C21 and Sotheby’s.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Valdes was Director of Private Banking at Deutsche Bank for just under a decade where he oversaw a book of business of just under $1 billion. He has the distinction of being the first Director in the United States of Latino descent. Mr. Valdes is the Chair of the AREAA Global Advisory Board and co-host of the 2020 AREAA Global Luxury Summit. He is also a current member of the NAHREP Corporate Board of Governors and a member of Forbes' Real Estate Council. Additionally, he is the Executive Chair of the ONE VOZ, Hispanic ERG for the firm and a member of Forbes Real Estate Council. He is a former Board Member of Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach as well as the Shanti Organization in San Francisco. Michael was also a Board Member of Pink & Blue for 2, an organization started by Olivia Newton-John to promote breast and prostate cancer awareness.
