Hallmark Channel News Spotify playlists for Loveuary and "The Way Home" About "Welcome to Valentine" Previously titled “Valentine, Nebraska.” This movie was filmed in Kemptville, Ontario in early December. Valentine, Nebraska is a real place. Actor Markian Tarasiuk describes the movie as “When Harry Met Sally, with a Southern American flair.” Markian Tarasiuk plays George. Recently seen him in "Christmas at the Golden Dragon" and "Our Italian Christmas Memories." Kathryn Davis is from Bath, England. She has 23 acting credits. Baeyen Hoffman plays nephew Mickey. We’ve also recently seen him as young Danny on “The Way Home.” Written by Jen Bashian and Stefanie Abel Horowitz. Jen Bashian is known for improv and sketch comedy. She has two other writing credits on IMDB including a short called “This Remains” and Tubi Original called “Frankie Meets Jack” starring Joey Lawrence and Anne Heche. Stefanie Abel Horowitz has five writing credits, including two shorts, an episode of a Disney+ show called “Lauchpad” and a movie called “Sometimes I Think About Dying” which has decent IMDB reviews. Hallmark News Per Sleepy Kitty Paw, last week's "Curious Caterer: Grilling Season" pulled in 1.183 million live viewers and .07 of the demo. Also per Sleepy Kitty Paw, Tamera Mowry-Housely is set to start filming a new Hallmark movie called "Dream Moms" which will be directed by Jessican Harmon. Last week's "Sweeter Than Chocolate" pulled in 2.026 million live viewers and 0.19 of the demo. The only thing ahead was sports and Fox News. Advertising executives Anna and Sebastian travel to his hometown of Paris to land the account of famed Durand Diamonds and end up in a tricky situation when the client mistakes them for a happy couple. She last starred in "Love in the Limelight" from 2022 and "Taking a Shot at Love" from 2021. She is most known for her role as Carmen Cortez from the "Spy Kids" franchise. Nicholas Bishop (Sebastian) is brand new to the Hallmark Channel. He has 20 acting credits including the HBO drama "Industry." Jessica Harmon directed this film. This is her 14th directing credit. Others include: Hallmark's "Game, Set, Love" and "Rip in Time" - both from 2022. She also directed the CBS Christmas Movie "Fit For Christmas" She was nominated for Outstanding Directorial Achievement by the Directors Guild of Canada for the Lifetime drama "Girl in the Shed: The Kidnapping of Abby Hernandez" According to a Hallmark Channel press release, this movie was film on location in France as well as in Bulgaria during the month of November 2022. This film was initially selected by Oprah Winfrey for her Documentary Club on OWN before being acquired by Netflix and Hulu. Other director credits include Disney+ "Big Shots," "Big Sky," and "Virgin River." "The Way Home" still pulling in strong live viewership numbers. Episode 4 ranked 25 out of 150 in original cable telecasts for Sunday, February 5, 2023 per showbuzzdaily.com. The breakdown is 1.6 million live viewers and 0.13 of the 18-49 demographic. Songs included in "The Way Home" episode 4: "Summer Girls" by LFO. This song was released in the summer of 1999 and reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart in 1999. "This Year's Love" by David Gray. This song was originally released in March 1999. The single peaked at number 20 on the UK Singles Chart.     Bring on the LOVEUARY line up! Megan and Wendy review "Sweeter Than Chocolate" starring Eloise Mumford and Dan Jeannotte. This is the first movie from Hallmark Channel's Loveuary line up. Hallmark News and Notes Hallmark Publishing closed operations unexpectedly in October 2022. This is relevant because "Sweeter Than Chocolate" by Lizzie Shane was published by Hallmark Publishing and later developed into a movie for the channel. Five new movies were announced for March. Films include Hallmark favorites like Kimberley Sustad, Kristoffer Polaha, Tyler Hynes, and Paul Campbell. Get all the details of the Hallmark Channel March 2023 line up. Last week's "Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance" ranked 13/150 in cable telecasts for Saturday, January 28. It pulled in 2.0 million live viewers. Listen to our review of "Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance" About "Sweeter Than Chocolate" This film is based on the book by the same name by Lizzie Shane. Buy "Sweeter Than Chocolate" on Amazon ($13) Filming took place in and around the Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada. One specific location - per Dan Jeannotte - was the picturesque Fort Langley Community Hall Scenes were filmed from November 14 - December 2, 2022. Front Street Productions - a Vancouver production company - produced this film. The Cupid Chocolates featured in the movie were made by Bissingers and can be ordered from their website. Eloise Mumford plays Lucy Sweet. She has 28 film credits, including Hallmark Movie's & Mysteries "Presence of Love" in 2022, "One December Night" from 2021, and "The Baker's Son" also from 2021. Brenda Strong plays Lucy's mom, Helen. She's probably best known for playing Mary Alice Young in "Desperate Housewives," as well as Ann Ewing in the reboot of "Dallas" from 2012-2014, and 22 episodes as Nora Walker in "13 Reasons Why." Dan Jeannotte plays Dean Chase. We saw Dan in last year's "The Royal Nanny" and of course we know him as Ryan Decker on "The Bold Type.
