Gregory Harrison plays Joe O’Toole. We’ll see Gregory as the fire chief in next month’s reviews of "The Nine Lives of Christmas" and "The Nine Kittens of Christmas." Megan Charpentier plays Phoebe Amidon. Megan has 43 acting credits and will make another appearance in "Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Impossible Dream." William B Davis plays Harper. William has 137 acting credits, most recently appearing in all three seasons of the Amazon Prime series "Upload." He’s perhaps most well known for his role as the Cigarette Smoking Man on the "X Files." News and Notes About "Savoring Paris" Clare Niederpruem directed “Savoring Paris.” At just 38, Clare has 17 directing credits including Hallmark projects like “An American in Austen,” “A Pinch of Portugal,” “A Royal Corgi Christmas” as well as several others. Her first movie for Hallmark was “In the Key of Love” in 2019. Joie Botkin wrote the screenplay for this movie. Joie Botkin has 25 writing credits including this year’s well-liked “Branching Out.” She also wrote “Never Been Chris’d,” “3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost,” “Our Italian Christmas Memories,” “Mid-Love Crisis” as well as “Cranberry Christmas” which we’ll be reviewing as part of our Christmas in July series next month. The movie is based on the 2018 book “Fromage à Trois: Paris. Love. Cheese” by Victoria Brownlee. Bethany Joy Lenz stars as Ella Weber. We last saw her in “A Biltmore Christmas” in 2023 with Kristoffer Polaha, before that she was in “An Unexpected Christmas” with Tyler Hynes. Not only an actor, Joy dropped a single called “Strawberries” last August which was a good, little summer bop. French actor Stanley Weber plays Serge. He is known for his performance as Juan Borgia in the television series “Borgia,” as well as appearing in 6 episodes of the popular TV series “Outlander.” This is his first Hallmark movie. Ben Wiggins plays Gaston. With 21 acting credits, Ben appeared in the last season of “You” on Netflix, “Death in Paradise,” and “Grace.” This is also his first project for Hallmark. Manon Azem plays Clotilde. She is a French actress with 29 acting credits and is known for the French TV series “Research Unit” where she appeared in 49 episodes. Lucy Newman-Williams plays Ella’s mom Laury. For Hallmark, she’s appeared in “Joyeux Noel” and “Love in the Maldives.” Outside of the network, Newman-Williams has been in “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” and “The Crown.” “Savoring Paris” was partly filmed on location in Paris, France, as well as Bulgaria. Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe was a 2016 UBCP Award nominee for Best Actress. Kevin Fair directed. He has directed the lion's share of SSD movies as well as a couple of the episodes from the TV series. The screenplay was written by Martha Williamson and Brandi Harkonen. Kevin McGarry plays Joey Castelucci. This was Kevin's first appearance on the Hallmark Channel. He would go on to star in "Heartland" and "When Calls the Heart" as well as the Wedding Veil series in his 39 total acting credits. Brooke Kevin plays Caitlin. This was also Brooke's first Hallmark credit. She has 90 total acting credits, including "Crashing Through the Snow" and "Jingle Around the Clock" for Hallmark. Zak Santiago plays Ramon. He has 162 acting credits which includes a number of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies. For Hallmark he was most recently in "Legend of the Lost Locket" as the art restorer. Poppy Montgomery plays Holly O'Toole. Poppy has 36 acting credits and this appears to be her only role on Hallmark. He’s probably best known for his role as Kyle McBride on Melrose Place between 1993-1999 but my first exposure to Rob Estes was in the USA crime-drama “Silk Stockings.” Since the 90s, he’s gone on to appear in shows like “Suddenly Susan,” “Gilmore Girls,” and “90210.” Browsing through his IMDB, I see he returns to Signed, Sealed, Delivered in a future movie and I’m not sure I’m ready. Marion Ross plays Oliver’s former Sunday school teacher Mrs. Genzinger in this movie. She has a staggering 197 acting credits and will always and forever be known as Mrs. Cunningham from her 255 episodes of “Happy Days." She’s been in just about everything, including the previously mentioned “Gilmore Girls” as Lorelei’s gran Trix. She’s also starred in 2 other projects for Martha Williamson: “Promised Land” and “Touched By an Angel.” At 95, Marion is still working! She voiced Grandma Squarepants in “Sponge Bob Square Pants” earlier this year. Marci T. House plays the nurse Odette. Marci has appeared in several Hallmark projects, including “Making Waves,” “A Winning Team,” and “Cranberry Christmas” (a movie that we’ll be reviewing this summer in Christmas in July). Ava Telek plays Hannah (the little girl who’s mom is sick). Ava has worked steadily since this movie. This was her one and only appearance in "Signed, Sealed, Delivered." Andrea Brooks plays Miss Special Delivery rival Kimmi. This role appears to be her first project for Hallmark. She has gone on to co-star in 80 episodes of “When Calls the Heart” as well as a number of Hallmark movies. Jessica Kishner Morgan played bride Ellie. Jessica has just a handful of acting projects and this was her only for the network. Jeremy Raymond plays boyfriend Bobby. Jeremy has 25 acting credits and has appeared in several "Star Trek" projects, "American Gods," "Psych," and others. About "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Episode 7 The title of episode 7 is called "Something Good" First premiered on Sunday, June 1, 2014 Director: Scott Smith Written by: Martha Williamson, Brandi Harkonen, and Dean Batali (who has a deep resume of writing for shows like “That ‘70s Show,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the “Good Witch.”) Co-Stars: Valerie Bertinelli plays Rebecca Starkwell. Bertinelli is probably best known for her roles on “One Day at a Time,” “Touched By an Angel,” and “Hot in Cleveland.” She’s also did in 14 seasons of “Valerie’s Home Cooking” and co-hosted 12 seasons of the “Kids Baking Championship” - both for the Food Network. Adam DiMarco played Billy James. He has 46 acting credits, including the last season of HBO’s “White Lotus” where he played Albie. Nicole Fraissinet played Jennifer. This was her first project for Hallmark but went on to appear in “The Nine Lives of Christmas” and a couple of episodes of the “Good Witch.” We also have a small appearance by Chris Gauthier who played Serge. Chris has appeared in many Hallmark movies, including hits like “Three Wise Men and a Baby” and “The Christmas House.” We’ll always remember Chris as Todd on “Date My Dad.” Sadly, Chris passed earlier this year from an unspecified short illness. About "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Episode 8 Episode 8 is called "Dark of Night" First premiered on Sunday, June 8, 2014 Directed by Scott Smith Writers: Martha Williamson and Brandi Harkonen Co-stars: Valerie Bertinelli returns as Rebecca Starkwell. Kimberley Sustad plays Melissa. This wasn’t Kimberley’s first project for Hallmark as she has appeared in “A Bride for Christmas” in 2012 but since "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" in 2014, Sustad has gone on to star in so many incredible Hallmark movies. Joel Berg appears as Corporal Benjamin 'Buzz' Parker. Joel has just 15 acting credits and this was his only appearance on Hallmark. Rami Kahlon plays Samila (adult). She has 29 acting credits and has only appeared on Hallmark in this project. About "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Episode 3 Episode 3 is called "Soulmates." First premiered on Sunday, May 4, 2014 Directed by Kevin Fair. He has 44 directing credits. Since this episode in 2014, he has gone on to direct 10 SSD movies, plus some Hallmark fan favorites like “Taking a Shot at Love,” “Always Amore,” “3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost,” and most recently “Legend of the Lost Locket.” Writers: Martha Williamson, Brandi Harkonen, and Dawn DeKeyser. Co-stars: Della Reese as Cora Brandt. She’s probably best known for her 211 episodes of “Touched By an Angel” but also appeared on other classic series like “Welcome Back, Kotter,” “Night Court,” “227,” “Picket Fences,” “Designing Women” and so many more. These two episodes of Signed, Sealed, Delivered were her very last projects. Della Reese passed in 2017 at the age of 86. Emilie Ullerup plays adult Marie. Emilie went on to play Bree O’Brien in 55 episodes of “Chesapeake Shores” as well as other Hallmark movies like “Don’t Forget I Love You” and “Retreat to You.” Greyston Holt plays adult Sam. He also appeared in 12 episodes of “Chesapeake Shores” as Jay Ross. About "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" Episode 4 Episode 4 is titled "The Masterpiece." Its title is "Second Chances." This movie premiered on October 12, 2013. Scott Smith directed the movie. He currently has 37 directing credits including a few Hallmark favorites like "Frozen in Love" and "Autumn in the Vineyard." Martha Williamson and Brandi Harkonen wrote the script. Martha Williamson is a 35-year veteran of the entertainment industry. She is known for being the writer and producer on "Touched by an Angel" as well as "Promised Land." Williamson has also written for the TV series "The Facts of Life," and "Living Dolls." Eric Mabius plays Oliver O'Toole. Eric currently has 72 acting credits, having appeared in Hallmark hits like "Haul Out the Holly" and "Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up." Mabius has worked steadily since 1995 having appeared in television shows like "Party of Five," "Chicago Fire," "The L Word," and "The O.C." Kristin Booth plays Shane McInerney. Zuniga is probably best known for her role as Jo Reynolds from "Melrose Place." Laci J. Mailey plays Kelly. We recently saw Laci in "Betty's Bad Luck in Love" but she's probably best known as Jess O'Brien from the long running Hallmark series "Chesapeake Shores." Benjamin Hollingsworth plays Charlie. Ben is known for his role as Dan Brady on "Virgin River" as well as Liam in "The Santa Summit." She has just one previous Hallmark credit having co-starred with Tyler Hynes in "Time For Him to Come Home for Christmas" in 2022. Edwin has 78 previous acting credits including “Game of Love,” “Just One Kiss,” and “Butlers in Love” for Hallmark. Alisha-Maria Ahamed plays Claire. She has 17 previous acting credits including “Our Italian Christmas Memories” from 2022. Sophia Carriere plays Maya’s younger sister Carmen. She has just 6 previous acting credits including a Lifetime movie called “The Girl Who Escaped: The Kara Robinson Story” which also co-starred friend of the show Erik Athavale. Filming took place from September to October 2023.
