    Girl House

Welcome to Girlhouse — a podcast for normal girls trying to figure it all out.

I’m Callie Wilson, and every week we talk about all the things that come with being a girl: dating, rejection, body image, confidence, friendships, health and wellness, growing up, spiraling, starting over, and all the random little things that somehow feel like the biggest deal in the world.

Girlhouse is basically one long voice note from your friend who gets it. Sometimes I have advice, sometimes I absolutely do not, but we’re figuring it out together.

If you’ve ever felt weird, behind, too much, not enough, or like everyone else somehow got the handbook except you — you’re in the right place.

We’re all normal girls here. Welcome home. <3

good morning besties & welcome back to girlhouse! this week we're getting comfy in bed for a much needed life update. we're talking about the latest developments with purse man, realizing that someone can be a good person and still be completely wrong for you, and why i've spent the past week feeling like the weirdest girl alive. we also get into my possible change of plans regarding grad school, feeling lost in your twenties, the pressure to have everything figured out, and learning that it's okay to change your mind (even when you've already told everyone your plans). plus, some period rage, a lot of cleaning, and a little existential crisis.

if you're feeling lost, weird, or like you have absolutely no idea what you're doing with your life, you're in the right place. love u girls!

surviving the fall scaries (and the post-summer uglies) Oct 16, 2026
    Show notes

morning girls!! reporting live as an eye surgery survivor (please respect my bravery). this week we're catching up on my very questionable dating roster, men who claim to be respectful but only text after midnight, and whether an insane physical connection actually means you're meant to be together. spoiler alert: apparently not.

then we're getting into the post-summer uglies, the fall scaries, and how we're going to survive the colder months without losing our minds. we're talking fall glow ups, cottage cheese maxing, walking off our anxiety, getting back into routines, romanticizing cozy nights in, and learning to embrace fall against our will.

summer might be over, but we're keeping the roxy girl mindset alive. we're locking in, getting cozy, and most importantly, still allowing ourselves to be weird.

    love you girls

it's actually so embarrassing to be alive Oct 09, 2026
    Show notes

hi besties!! welcome back to girlhouse. this week we're talking about the deeply embarrassing experience of simply existing as a girl.

we're starting with a little life update, including a first date that was actually amazing until i accidentally called him another man's name, cried after hooking up, and spent the entire next day convinced i was the weirdest, creepiest girl alive. so naturally, things are going really well!

then we're having a much needed girlhouse advice session. we're talking about body image struggles, friendship breakups, getting ghosted, being scared to date again, losing your entire personality when you have a crush, and feeling completely lost in your late twenties when you thought you'd have your life figured out by now.

plus, we're chatting about getting back into youtube, finding motivation again, learning to stop letting insecurities hold us back, and why sometimes you just have to get out of your own head and live your life.

basically, we're all a little weird, we're all a little embarrassed, and we're all just trying to figure it out. but maybe that's what makes us normal girls. love u.

how to survive a humiliationship Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

bonus ep!!! today we’re talking brutal hangovers, drunk phone calls, rejection, humiliationships, and how to reset when you’re convinced everyone thinks you’re weird. I share my very specific hangover recovery routine, why deep cleaning fixes almost everything, my current book recs, and how I’m trying to stop letting one random man’s opinion determine how I feel about myself. if you’re having the sunday scaries, consider this your reminder: no one is mad at you and you’re not a weirdo. <3

do i want him or do i just want him to choose me? Oct 02, 2026
    Show notes

This week on Girlhouse, we’re getting into a realization that genuinely changed the way I look at dating: do I actually want this person, or do I just want them to choose me?

After spiraling over a crush this week, I realized how often I go into dating trying to prove that I’m worthy, normal, desirable, or “good enough” instead of stopping to ask whether I even want the person in front of me. We talk about letting go of the cool girl act, dating from a scarcity mindset, making the husband list, and learning to focus less on whether someone likes you and more on whether you actually like them.

Then we get into a bestie Q&A: getting out of a two-year situationship, making friends in your late twenties, jealousy and comparison, first-date outfits, roster dating vs. one-man-at-a-time dating, my psychology master’s update, coming back to YouTube, and more.

Love you besties. See you Sunday for part two. <3

maybe i need to do something else Sep 25, 2026
    Show notes

After two weeks away, we have a LOT to catch up on. I’m recapping New York, Denver, the weirdest panic attack of my life, and the realization I’ve been avoiding for years: maybe doing social media full time isn’t enough for me anymore. We’re talking grad school, finding purpose outside of the internet, potentially leaving LA for a sleepy little beach town, and why changing your mind doesn’t mean you failed. Turns out 29 might be my pivot year.

Anything I Did at 28 Is None of My Business Sep 04, 2026
    Show notes

Hi besties, I’m officially 29, which means anything I did at 28 is simply none of my business. This week we’re catching up on everything from wedding season and my weird birthday feelings to a bizarre TSA experience, a pet sitter disaster, and the post-summer-romance embarrassment I would very much like to leave in the past. I’m also entering my end-of-summer lock-in era: getting back into Pilates and the gym, eating better, drinking less, reading more, limiting my screen time, and generally trying to feel like a normal, healthy, calm person again. New year, new age, new me… allegedly.

Summer Romance: Cancelled Aug 21, 2026
    Show notes

Besties, the spring-to-summer romance has officially come to an end… despite me being fully convinced I was about to have a boyfriend. This week we’re unpacking what happened, the emotional paragraph I wish I could delete from existence, getting rejected, getting my period and suddenly regaining the will to live, and why I ultimately believe you cannot scare your person away. Plus: a horrifying rebound date, my birthday anxiety, my four-question dating questionnaire, and whether I’m actually going on a date four hours before my flight. We are moving forward and persevering!!!
