We're back in business now though and kicking off with DJ.NATURE aka Nature Boy aka Milo - Wild Bunch OG, Major Force West affiliate and connoisseur of that good stuff... full spectrum... from hip-hop to house and techno and beyond. Gilles hooked up with him for a chat about his worldwide travels and the inspirations behind his new record - 'Return Of The Savage' - forthcoming on Golf Channel Recordings (http://www.golfchannelrecordings.com/). Rugged and raw basement soul vibes - just how we like it. What's more, he recorded a dope "Influences" mix for us.You can download the podcast HERE (http://media.blubrry.com/gillespeterson/content.blubrry.com/gillespeterson/96_Gilles_with_DJ_NATURE.mp3) [right-click-and-save on a PC // ctrl+click on a Mac]…...

Gilles Peterson Worldwide Vol.5 No.1 // Ross Allen x Gilles P interview Oct 17, 2011

Show notes

(http://brownswoodrecordings.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/gilles_P_masterpiece.jpg)A few weeks back, Gilles was a guest on Ross Allen's Ministry of Sound radio show, coinciding with the release of Gilles' brand new Masterpiece compilation. Typically, as the two are firm friends and kindred spirits, what was supposed to be a short interview snowballed into a 2 hour marathon and threw up some amazing insight into Gilles' musical roots and broadcasting career. So much so that we felt compelled to re-up for anyone who missed it.
