NXT, AEW: Surprise title change, big return, problem with under-delivering Nov 12, 2020
    Show notes

There was a shocking, unexpected title change in NXT and the return of a top-tier star in AEW that made headlines as the shows went head-to-head Wednesday night. Host Adam Silverstein opens the show diving into an average of edition of NXT [2:30], including the booking of Johnny Gargano dropping the North American championship, pushing Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley so soon and what's next for Tommaso Ciampa, Santos Escobar and Pat McAfee's Kings of NXT. "The Silver King" then moves into a disappointing episode of AEW Dynamite [23:15], which promised to follow Full Gear with a show that would shift the "balance of power in wrestling." Spoiler alert: It did not. Adam looks at Tony Khan continuing to over-promise and under-deliver, the return of PAC, the incredible Pentagon El Zero M vs. Rey Fenix match, Cody Rhodes' failure of a segment and the fast-paced booking of Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega for the AEW title. "The Silver King" and "Vintage" also break down the latest in the build towards Survivor Series for the men's and women's teams, the Ricochet-Mustafa Ali banger on Raw, Lana's future in WWE and much more. WWE: Roman Reigns-Daniel Bryan ignites, Survivor Series gets meaty Nov 03, 2020
    Show notes

With Survivor Series still a few weeks away, WWE has spent a lot of time setting up its main event storylines once the brand-on-brand competition ends. Daniel Bryan is now looped into the Roman Reigns-Jey Uso situation, which has ignited the feel spots of host Adam Silverstein and co-host Chris Vannini. The Main Event opens [4:27] with a discussion about whether Reigns is in the midst of the feud of the year, what Bryan brings to the table and how The Usos will factor in. The guys then move to Randy Orton fighting a war on three fronts against Drew McIntyre, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and The Miz [17:45] before updating the Survivor Series teams with a concentration on the massively meaty Raw team with Braun Strowman, Keith Lee, Sheamus and AJ Styles [30:38]. "The Silver King" and "Vintage" also break down everything else from SmackDown and Raw [1:00:05], including where the Sasha Banks-Bayley storyline is going, the Mysterios telenovela and the futures of The Hurt Business and Retribution.
