I have 2 fantastic guests this episode. Victoria Shaw is a singer/songwriter/publisher/producer. She wrote the #1 hits "The River" and "She's Every Woman" for Garth Brooks. She also opened up for Garth at his legendary sold out Central Park concert in NYC. She co-produced Lady Antebellum's debut album that went platinum. Other hits she's written are "Nobody wants to be Lonely" for Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera, and John Michael Montgomery's "I Love The Way You Love Me." Victoria has been working with the insanely talented and GORGEOUS Lacy Cavalier for several years now. Lacy began her career on BARNEY (Yes, the big purple dinosaur!) and then moved the Nashville at age 15. She has just released an EP called "Saving Pennies, Paying Dues," and is on tour with Chase Rice. She has had several music videos on CMT and her star is on the rise!

I had to interview my dad because, well, HE GOT BIT IN THE FACE BY A SHARK! He was spear fishing in the Bahamas while on our family vacation, and a shark went after his fish and bit him instead (on accident.) My dad tells the whole story, which is unbelievable. Ashley Campbell! This girl is a true beauty inside and out. She is the daughter of legendary Glen Campbell, and a badass in her own right. She plays the banjo better than any person on the planet, and is an incredible artist. She has a deal at Big Machine Records and her first single was a tribute to her father called "I'll Do the Remembering." She tells me how Alzheimer's has not just affected her dad, but her family, and she talks all about touring with him on his Goodbye Tour and the making of his documentary "I'll Be Me." He has written 15 #1 songs, more than 10 top 10 songs, and over 1000 songs recorded by artists including Reba, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. He has had such a colorful life filled with beginning in a rock-n-roll band from Youngston Ohio, moving to Nashville, becoming a session player, which lead him to writing songs, which lead him to a whirl-wind life of success, a marriage and divorce to Pam Tillis, partying and living the wild life, to sobering up and settling down with the love of his life Leslie Tomasina. Bob does not hold a thing back, and is the most charismatic, kind soul. He is a member of the Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame and the Nashville Walk of Fame. I left this interview feeling completely inspired!
