Worst week ever? How about worst day ever? Abby Chin tried to push as much positivity through the uncertainty of a day, Sunday, where the Celtics lost Daniel Theis for the season and Marcus Smart may be soon to follow. Kyrie Irving's dealing with tendinitis, Al Horford's sick and Jaylen Brown's out indefinitely after his scary fall last week. Abby says Brad Stevens didn't even have enough time to address all the injuries at practice Monday.

So how does Boston move forward? Who in the media could hop on the roster if needed? We ask Abby the important questions.

Also, NBC Sports Boston did a segment on Weird Celtics Twitter. So we had to ask about that to, do the players realize it? Is anybody on this roster meme-proof? That's probably as close to positive as I got on this episode, Abby did a better job with that.

Jay King says the Celtics have found their identity at this point: a defensive team that grinds out games. He doesn't see them as elite, so that means the playoffs will be a grind from start to finish. But that doesn't mean this group can't make it to the NBA Finals.

Off the Celtics-Rockets thriller that Jay was stranded for, the Rainin J's podcaster crosses enemy lines to join the CelticsBlog pod and describe the "Antonio Gates/Rob Gronkowski"-esqe play that almost tied the game at the buzzer for Boston. Cavaliers made the splash at the deadline nobody expected, overturning their entire roster. CelticsBlog friend and Fear The Sword lead writer Justin Rowan returns to the show, and stunningly post-trade Bobby's higher on Cleveland than he is.

Rowan believes CLE gave up too much just to dump Isaiah Thomas, a "cancer" to the Cavaliers. But does maintain LeBron James will stay in Cleveland, due to his satisfaction with the moves.

Bobby and Justin get into what the moves the Cavs ripped off mean for Boston, and how both teams match up with Toronto, Justin's east favorite until further notice, as well as whether a Raptors Finals appearance would be good for the NBA.

As far as getting better, Rowan still only rates Cleveland's improvement by how well they can compete with Golden State. Lineup-wise, Bobby sees potential for this group, but a disaster if James leaves. All that and more on this week's CelticsBlog pod.
