CLL #669 (feat. Dedee Pfeiffer) – 04/22/1998 – Wednesday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016)

Dedee is making her only know appearance on CLL, promoting her sitcom ‘For Your Love’ and this new file replaces the previous 24 minute JBJ Tape from 2008, we now have the majority of the show, just missing the last break, the show is probably missing 2-5 minutes at most, the best we’re probably ever going to get. This episode is mostly new to the archive and the majority of the show hasn’t been heard in 18 years, we can listen together and find out if it is any good.

From Wiki: Dorothy Diane “Dedee” Pfeiffer (born January 1, 1964) is an American film and television actress.

CLL #668 (feat. L7) – 04/21/1998 – Tuesday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with JBJ Tape (2009 Tape Patches

L7 are making their 2nd known appearance of the Adam era, they were previously on in 1997, it aired as CLL #500 in the previous feed, it was a partial recording “Best of” show with Fiona Apple. This episode was previously only 39 minute, now we have nearly the full show, just missing a few seconds after the tape flip and another tiny chunk or two as well. The best we are ever going to get. Adam and Drew discuss what a bizarre episode 667 was and then reassure Producer Ann that her off the wall booking choices only end up inspiring better and sometimes bizarre show content.

CLL #666 (feat. The Love Between The Two Hosts) – 04/19/1998 – Sunday Night Show Source – Melissa Tape (2014) with TobyDog Tape (2008) Patches

This nearly complete show is now complete thanks to the new Melissa Tape, we used as much of her better sounding tape as possible and then wove in the audio from the TobyDog Tape I transferred back in Hawaii 8 years ago. This is a great no guest show with some good stories and some guy that asks his girlfriend to marry him over the air.

Adam talks about Tyra Bank’s love for Dr. Drew the week before. Drew says he’s going to be on Politically Incorrect the next night and is going to debate marijuana against Woody Harrelson.

CLL #665 (feat. Tyra Banks) – 04/16/1998 – Thursday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with Spinfly Tape (2009) patches

This Episode is sadly still missing the final closing 30-90 seconds where Tyra began roasting Adam over the coals for his comments about her modeling career and the barriers she’s broken down with said career, the rest of the show is complete, the Kevin tape was used for the body of the show as the sound was richer even with the “Kevin hum” it was slightly better audio.

From Wiki:

Tyra Lynne Banks[5] (born December 4, 1973)[6] is an American model, television personality, talk show host, producer, author, actress, singer and business woman. She began her career as a model at age 15, and

CLL #664 (feat. Shane) – 04/15/1998 – Wednesday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with Spinfly Tape (2009) patches

This Episode has some very sad news for those following Adam’s recent journey trying to fulfill a childhood dream, hint! We don’t do trigger warnings for the show but this one could bum you out, it is an essential episode though, hilarious, bizarre and tragic all in one. A newly merged recording, 100% complete.

From Wiki: Shane (born December 16, 1969) is the stage name of an American former pornographic actress and director, known for creating the Shane’s World series of adult videos after having debuted in the Read More →

CLL #663 (feat. Serenity and Ron Jeremy) – 04/14/1998 – Tuesday Night Show Source –Melissa Tape (2014) with a Kevin Tape (2016) and TobyDog Tape Patches

This is Ron and Serenity’s first known appearance from the Adam era, Serenity comes back to the show for two more visits in 1999 and 2001, Ron comes back on 3 mores times in 2001, 2003 and 2004. Ron comes off like a very “normal guy” and Serenity is a fun guest, this episode explains the origin of the story involving Ron’s replica penis rolling around in Adam’s car trunk, a lot more happens with that rubber dork too btw. Lots of talk about the band Sublime, Jeremy is an expert when it comes to their catalog and seems to be friendly with the band, a young

CLL #662 (feat. Will Sasso & Aries Spears) – 04/13/1998 – Monday Night Show Source – Melissa Tape (2014) with Kevin Tape (2016) patches.

Another long lost episode, entirely absent from the internet forever until today. Will and Aries are promoting MADtv on Fox, Will has two other known appearances, he returns on 03/11/2004 and again on 01/13/2005 where Adam and Will come up with ‘The Gay Morning Zoo” bit that is an all-time classic. Aries returns to the show on 09/02/2004 with “shots to the face” after Adam is fresh from a fishing trip in Mexico. I still haven’t had time to even listen to this show, so we’re all hearing it again for the first time, enjoy!

CLL #661 (feat. Natasha Henstridge) – 04/12/1998 – Sunday Night Show Source – Matty Tape (2016)

Another long lost episode, only a partial recording and the only known copy on earth. Natasha is making her first known appearance on the radio show, promoting ‘Species 2’ and being a general delight. Natasha is among the trifecta of beautiful women who had crushes on Adam Carolla, Fergie from ‘Wild Orchid’ and ‘Black Eyed Peas’ being another and Jennifer Grey. This is a very funny episode, it was undated and the 12th seemed like the only opening in the early part of April to coincide with the movie promotion, the date was confirmed by Adam in the next episode with the Cast of MadTV, a flawless date for a sadly incomplete episode. Natasha already

CLL #660 (feat. Tristan Taormino) – 04/09/1998 – Thursday Night Show Source – Kevin Tape (2016) with JBJ Tape (2008) and TobyDog (2007) patches.

Another newly restored episode, previously we only had a 50-minute chunk from the TobyDog tapes in very rough quality and another short segment from a JBJ tape, now we have the full show complete thanks to a new Kevin Tape. This is Tristan’s first of two known CLL appearances, she has another visit in 2002 almost exactly 4 years later. Tristan and her expertise lead to a very funny 6 minutes that close out the show, solid ep!

CLL #659 (feat. Annalisa & Sandy) – 04/08/1998 – Wednesday Night Show Source – Melissa Tape (2014) with Kevin Tape (2016) and TobyDog (2007) patches

Annalisa and Sandy are making their only known Classic LoveLine appearances, professional dancers from the local establishment known as ‘Bob’s Classy Lady’ which was a long running adult entertainment establishment in the valley and has been and will continue to be referenced by Adam many, many times. Adam has a solid tax rant and the boys reminisce about their horrible 1997 MTV Spring Break experience in Panama City. The show ends with Adam complaining about Tony Danza and Scott Baio. He wants to see them on a special called “Set Adrift in the Atlantic on a Dingy.”
