    CFP Barbara Ginty interviews the lovely Eva this week on the Future Rich Podcast!

    Eva is 37, married, and has one child and another on the way. She lives in the DMV area and works at a Biopharmaceutical Company in the Government Affairs Department. She feels a little more conservative with her finances as the main provider for her family of four and being responsible for her family's healthcare.

    In this episode, Barbara and Eva talk about the temporal nature of certain expenses and how stressful saving for daycare is. They devise a plan for while the kids are young and daycare expenses are high. Once they’re out of daycare, Eva will re-evaluate her budget and change her savings ratio. They also discuss Roth In‐Plan Conversions, life insurance plans, 529s, and so much more!

    Nacray finished school, took a year off during Covid, then committed to a year of aggressive savings. She now works as an Architectural Designer at an Architecture Firm, teaches four months out of the year, and has a side hustle!

    On top of all of that, she has done a fantastic job saving and has a fund for everything!

    Barbara and Nacray talk about student loan deferment and the struggles of apartment hunting. They also come up with a game plan for Nacray to pursue her goal of becoming a Licensed Architect without sacrificing her savings or her sanity!
