E134: Qiao Jianguo Pt 2 Sep 30, 2021

Show notes

(note: time stamps are without ads & may be off a little)

This is part 2 of the unusual case of Qiao Jianguo, a Chinese man living in Jiantan, a town in the province of Gansu, China. This has been referred to in China as Gansu's Intestinal Digging Demon murder case.

This story was researched by one of our Fruities, Burt Sun, who is a Chinese American ex-pat living in Brazil. Thank you, Burt, for helping us big time with this case!

Per Burt, "The gruesome murders were so terrifying, it makes Jack the Ripper’s acts seem far inferior in comparison to this EVIL GUT DIGGER."

First we recap part 1 (10:34), then get into the investigation & arrest (13:37), followed by "Where are they now?" (32:25) our takeaways and what we think made the perp snap (36:05).

As usual we close out the show with some tips on how not to get murdered (43:47) and our shout outs (46:01).

Thanks for listening! This is a weekly podcast and new episodes drop every Thursday, so until next time... look alive guys, it's crazy out there!
