Reverie True Crime: Jake Bird Mar 03, 2022

Show notes

Wendy and Beth are taking a break this week, but will be back next week. In the meantime, please enjoy this episode from the Reverie True Crime podcast hosted by Paige Elmore!

Jake Bird worked on railroads and took the train everywhere he went. In Tacoma, Washington, Jake was sneaking around the streets and came across an axe in the backyard of Bertha Kludt’s home. What was supposed to be a so-called “easy” robbery turned into major bloodshed…

Later, Jake put a hex on anyone who had a hand in his trial and were not on his side. A handful of those people died within a year or so.
