Cameron Campbell, affectionately known as Coach Cam, is a servant, sports enthusiast and social entrepreneur who has spoken more than a thousand times for various sports and philanthropic organizations including the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball League(NBA) and Major League Baseball (MLB).

He is a former division one (D1) football athlete and graduate of the University of Houston who transformed his passion for sports into a career serving students as an Athletic Director and Head Coach where he was recognized as the all time winningest coach. He is currently empowering others as a business consultant and owner of Texas Athletics Construction and will be releasing his highly anticipated book, Win the 1st Quarter of Your Day: Playbook For Wealth, Health, & Success 2020.

More than the commercial success, Coach Cam prides himself on the impact of his work in the community. He developed the FLAG (Football League All Girls) program to break inequality barriers. He led the Clinton Foundation initiative Access to Sports Coalition, which sought to eliminate sports deserts in the Houston Area. He served on Harris County Sports Authority committees that brought awareness to the World Corporate Games and Scotland vs USA rugby match in 2018. In 2019 Coach Cam was recognized as a finalist for the Upstart Business Award (Greater Houston Black Chamber), he was honored to receive the Hustle Capacity Award (Urban CEO), Most Stylish Houstonians of 2019 (Houston Style Magazine). In 2020 Coach Cam was accepted into the NAACP NextGen Leadership Program. While 2020 has handed the world lemons, Coach Cam is producing the world’s finest lemonade.

Putting A Stop To Human Trafficking | Joel Vettel Oct 22, 2020

Show notes

Joel Vettel grew up on a farm near Hillsboro, N.D. and attended Hillsboro High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University, and a master’s degree in management from the University of Mary. He is a 2009 graduate of Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety “School of Police Staff and Command.” He is a 2013 graduate of the 253rd class of the FBI National Academy.

Joel was appointed to the Fargo Police Department in 1997 and served in numerous roles within the department including leadership positions within the patrol division and investigations division. Joel served as the Public Information Officer for 7 years and worked with media from across the country. Joel has also developed numerous programs dealing with personal safety and de-escalation. He has lectured on the issue of workplace violence and dealing with physically aggressive people.

After leaving law enforcement he was the Executive Director for the Fargo Park District for 3 years before taking on his new role for Sanford Health. His current role as Head of Strategic Community Partnerships for Sanford Health allows him the opportunity to work with numerous community partners in the pursuit to improve the human condition.

Vettel is active with area youth athletic programs at both the high school and the college level. He served on numerous boards for organizations such the United Way of Cass Clay and FBI National Academy Association. He has served as the site liaison for ESPN Game Day and the Director of Operation for the USA Wrestling Asics National Wrestling Tournament, the largest wrestling tournament in the world.

In his spare time Joel works as announcer for NDSU Athletics and a volunteer strength coach for Fargo Public Schools, and is an experienced adventure racer and obstacle course racer. Joel lives in Fargo with his wife and two daughters.
