Homer and Marge are getting married...AGAIN! Except this time it's genuinely for the right reasons. Homer is honestly so likeable in this episode that it almost feels like damage-control against the "Jerkass" tag. On top of that, we also getting a really fun SAW parody. A pleasant surprise!

One of the all-time great Marge episodes that sees her take a chance on herself and join the Springfield police force. A great look at the roadblocks many women face in the workplace, as well as the perception of women with positions of authority.
We also discuss the "car hole" vs "car hold" debate, how Herman managed to conduct illegal activities in the Simpsons' garage, what happened to Snake's brother and more.

Dia duit! That's right this week we' gathered our lucky charms and and visited O'Flanagan's pub in Ireland for a pint or two, and boy are we glad that we did because this is arguably the best Simpsons vacation episode since Bart vs Australia.
Al Jean said the intention was to produce a love letter to Ireland and they succeeded. A really fun story that sees Homer and Abe buy an Irish pub and ignore the no-smoking laws.
We also discuss Colin Farrell, the 1970s comic series GASM, the use of the word "bog" and more.

Not only is this episode's story a showcase for just how despicable The Simpsons have become, but it also features arguably the darkest and bleakest moment in the history of the show. Basically, Homer blows the family's savings and they lose their house, Flanders buys it and rents it back to them, but soon evicts them after they abuse his generousity.
Meanwhile, since it's Easter, we also discuss Guy's latest hot-cross-buns escapades, the Simpsons writers losing our trust and Dando's new pet...kinda.

The Four Finger Discount family recently lost our beloved pooch Jet, so to pay tribute we've gone back and revisited one of the more heartfelt episodes from the earlier seasons, Bart's Dog Gets An F.
We discuss how revisiting the episode helped Dando grieve the loss of Jet, the history of Tracey Ullman's turbulent relationship with the series, the simplistic but effective use of Marge's quilt to drive the story and more.

For the first time in his life, Homer is financially liable for his actions. Can he last 3 hours without hurting himself? Meanwhile, Springfield Elementary are preparing to take the Vice President's Assessment Test, which means all of the trouble-makers are sent on a joyride to Capitol City with Skinner. A pretty enjoyable episode that sees Principal Skinner finally earn back some respect from the kids.
Plus, we get a pretty kick-arse parody of Final Destination! We also discuss the origin of the glovebox, kids asking too many questions and the importance of respecting your teacher.
