Ep-154: Beyond The Door. Aug 28, 2020

Show notes

In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight decide to take a peek "Beyond the Door" (1974) where they feast their eyes on a table-length, family-style serving of Italian Exorcist. I hope you want extra cheese grated all over your heapin' helpin', cuz this Satanic car wreck of a film is cheesy as Hell. The homies also chat about Brian's recent streak in the superhero biz and (of course) about their testicles one last time. All in all, great fun was had juggling nuts, demons, and this unpredictable flick, known also as "The Devil Within Her".

Ep-153: The Being. Aug 21, 2020

Show notes

In this episode, the FM3 take a trip to Potatovillle, Idaho where they investigate a toxic waste spill and the lumpy, bumpy, mutated aftermath that is the namesake of 1983's "The Being". As the disappearances of townspeople begin stacking up, so does the green slime they leave behind, making this Easter Sunday egg-stra messy. But there is hope! "The Scientist" (Martin Landau) and "The Police Detective" (Rexx Coltrane) attempt to destroy the mutant freak and return their sleepy town to the normal task of banishing ever-present smut peddlers instead of worrying about "The Being"!

Ep-152: Blacula & Scream Blacula Scream. Aug 14, 2020

Show notes

In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight change into janky bats and fly back to the 1970's to watch two groovy-ass Vampire flicks; 'Blacula' and 'Scream, Blacula, Scream!' Like a delicious blood-filled wine glass, these movies have possibly improved with age, sporting plenty of goofy facial hair, inept police officers, awkward smooches, sinister curses and (last but not least) green-skinned, blood-snackin' ghouls. So join us as we duck into the cape of William Marshall as African Prince Mamuwalde, Kicker of all the Ass and Slurper of all the Blood... aka BLACULA!!!

Ep-150: Ganja & Hess. Jul 13, 2020

Show notes

Directed by actor/writer Bill Gunn, this film is a very distant relative of Blaxploitation /cult films of the time and is unlike any "Vampire" film The FM3 have ever seen. So Grab your crucifix, mason jar of Hammer Blood and ancient bone knife and get ready for "Ganja & Hess" (1973).

Ep-148: Prom Night 3: The Last Kiss. May 25, 2020

Show notes

The Forever Midnight kids are going back to school, and just in time for another Hamilton High Prom! Mary Lou is back again, escaped from the Under-Over, and she wants her flippin' crown (as well as some twenty-something teenage hanky-panky) in Prom Night 3: The Last Kiss (1990). All the characters of typical late eighties Canadaville USA high school life are in play: sax-tootin' jocks who can't crack a book, their hate-baking girlfriends, inept faculty who snip off their own fingers and can't fight off an ice cream attack, and most famously, a horny she-ghost from the fifties to grant your every wish... as long as you dig the graves! It may not be the final installment of the Prom Night franchise, but it's the end of the line for the FM3, so let's head back to the Inbetwixt to get lucky!

Ep-147: Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night 2. May 18, 2020

Show notes

In this episode, your friends at Forever Midnight travel back to 1957 to watch a young balding man murder his cheating ex with a stink bomb. Needless to say, whenever that happens, you are surely creating a pissed-off revenge-ghost that's gonna return in 30 years to boff your son and possess Hamilton High's very own Carrie White - just so she can strap that dusty old crown onto her krispy krueger melon. All in all, a pretty solid plan! So join us as we chat about the little talked about classic 'Hello Mary Lou, Prom Night 2'! (1987)

Ep-146: Prom Night. May 11, 2020

Show notes

Tonight, you've got a date with Forever Midnight! Let's get gussied up in our ruffliest outfits and head out to the Hamilton High School Prom where verrry slowly, we'll discover that a killer is on the loose, that Jamie Lee's character has little to no clue that anyone is in danger, and that a monobrowed caveman is gearing up for a plan he can't even spell. One by one, teens (who may or may not be in their thirties) are falling victim to the sparkly-ski-masked-mystery-killer, so please take our arm as we spike the punch with equal parts Disco & Leslie Nielsen and pray we get lucky on Prom Night (1980)!!!

As an added bonus the gang has figured out a new Quarantine recording technique that is sounding real swell.
