Awarded the Best US X-Wing podcast at the 2018 Goldies. Now with 2 out of 3 hosts having won a Regional. Skreeeeeee!
US Nationals Winner Duncan Howard joins the Mynocks and talks about why the Howard Aces is so successful and currently the squad to beat in the meta. In addition they discuss how Wave 9 might shake things up, Rogue One expansions, and when the best time is to bring your Shuttle to the party!

It's time for regional round up Part 2! Rytackle, The Greedy Dragon, and Texx talk about the mix of different lists they've seen have success from across the world. Through the process they find that just because a list may not look dominant on paper, doesn't mean it can't bring home the gold. They also discuss their final takeaways from regional season.
No timestamps this week, just all regional talk!

Now that regionals are FINALLY over, the Mynock crew decide to continue their long overdue recap of the various winners from across the globe! Dallas breaks down all the various TIE Swarms we see, Dee provides some valuable (if not a bit conceited) input, and Rytackle gets overly excited when he sees a certain pilot in the top 4 of a regional... No timestamps this week, just an hour and a half of recap!

Fantasy Flight Games held back a few choice snippets about Wave 9, such as maneuver dials and certain upgrade cards. However, they launched them into the wild with limited pre-release sales at GenCon, and we now know the precise contents of each ship in this wave. We break down the previously unknown details about the ARC-170, Mandalorian Concord Dawn Protectorate Fang Fighter, and Lancer-class Pursuit Craft.
To tantalize us even further, FFG also dropped the first Wave 10 preview, announcing Sabine's TIE Fighter (a Rebel hijacked TIE), the Upsilon-class Shuttle (Kylo Ren's whip), and the Quadjumper (the tugboat Rey wanted to grand theft instead of the Falcon). We discuss the revealed content, and attempt to decipher the mystery items from the preview photo and clues in the article. (Dee's eyes melted staring at a zoom enlarged copy of the photo.)
Finally, we fangasm at the new Rogue One trailer! We intend on tightening up moving forward, but this is a longer episode to deal with all of the news just dropped on us - enjoy!

Dee managed to kick Ryan off the show, and replaced him with the preeminent BroBots player in the world: Philip Booth. We discuss his X-Wing background and Arizona's Phoenix Squadron, before diving into his Worlds Top 4 exploits.
With his expertise, we shine the ship spotlight on the IG-2000 Aggressor including builds, strategy and tactics, and its place in the current meta.
FLY BETTER!
We've got more content than we know what to do with this week. FFG is dropping previews on us faster than we can talk about them! This week we've got the Mandalorian Concord Dawn Protectorite Fang Fighter. Also there's A-Wing talk, Dallas wisdom, and Dee destroys Ryan with math shenanigans.

2015 National Champion Jeff Berling is our guest!
As the ingenious originator of the infamous Dengaroo squad, he has several choice words regarding the terms "broken", "overpowered", and "easy mode". We concur that there are several juiced elements in the current X-Wing competitive meta (looking at you Emperor Palpatine), and have a spirited discussion about their respective merits.
Jeff holds some of his proprietary secrets close to the vest, but like all of our master X-Wing guests, he shares much sage insight and advice to assist beginner and veteran pilots alike.

World's registration got you down? Worry not, because the Mynocks have got your back. This week's serving of beef isn't as fun and frivolous as what you would normally expect, and we aim our turbolasers straight at FFG for their handling of Worlds registration. After Dee has had a chance to finish his usual bombastic escapades, we discuss actual relevant and important news, the first of which being brand New tournament regulations! Prepare yourselves for THE FINAL SALVO! [insert Europe music].
We finish off late with some quick system open finals results. Huge congratulations to all of those competitors involved at the Coruscant Invitational. Then we move onto our Arc-170 and the TIE/sf preview updates. Hopefully all of these topics we're serving up make for another scrumptious episode. Sit back, relax, turn off the Max Rebo, and enjoy another episode of the Mynock Squadron Podcast. Screeeeeeeeeee!

Today Mynock Squadron interviews the glorious Foss Twins!
Travis and Jaren Foss are bruising Clone Troopers from Down Under who can destroy you on a martial arts mat, then table you on an X-Wing mat. They're simply terrifying, but also overwhelmingly friendly. There are few mates I'd rather spend time with, but it's simply impossible to forget that you're at the mercy of both their physicality and miniatures pew-pew prowess. We discuss their backgrounds and X-Wing histories, interspersed throughout with strategies, tactics, and meta analysis.
In addition, we just had the most game changing FAQ yet drop on us. We break down the major changes, including rules reversals and potential impact on the meta. Plus, the madness of Dengaroo!
We apologize for some audio issues, but on the whole, we're pleased that transoceanic internet held up as well as it did.
