Episode 712 - Daniel O’Connor is a First Class Father and retired CIA agent. He spent twenty-six years in the CIA, and as an Executive Senior Intelligence Service Officer, was the Chief of Security for five CIA Directors of Intelligence (DCI) and their Deputy Directors (DDCI). He served both at home and overseas ensuring that the Directors were protected while they were in office. Dan had the distinct honor of working with outstanding DCI/DDCI team members and was responsible for their safety and security as well. Separately, he served abroad for many years in multiple U.S. Embassies in Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America and received two medals with distinction from the CIA upon his federal retirement.

In this Episode, Dan shares his Fatherhood journey which includes three children. He discusses his new book, a spy thriller, “A True American Patriot: On Your Six O’Clock”. He describes the challenges of life as a dad while traveling the world while working for the Central Intelligence Agency. He talks about current events here at home and abroad that threaten the American way of life. I ask him about the CIA’s involvement in the Kennedy assasination. He graduated from Stanford University in 2002 and Yale Law School in 2006. Senator Hawley is recognized as one of the nation’s leading constitutional lawyers. He has litigated at the Supreme Court of the United States, the federal courts of appeals, and in state court, fighting for the people’s liberties.

Episode 710 - Charles Strange is a First Class Father and Gold Star Father of Michael Strange who was killed in action on August 6th 2011. Michael served in the Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Petty Officer First Class and was a part of the DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6) unit that killed Osama bin Laden. Ninety-three days after the Bin Laden raid, Michael and his entire unit was killed when their Chinook helicopter, Extortion 17, was shot down by the Taliban in Afghanistan. The tragic event was the largest single loss of life incident in Naval Special Warfare history. Michael Strange was a highly decorated combat veteran with numerous awards, including the Bronze Star Medal with Valor and the Purple Heart Medal.

In this Episode, Charles shares his Fatherhood journey which includes 4 children, two step children and seven grandchildren. He talks about the life of his son Michael and discusses the day he found out he was killed in action. He describes the many unknown circumstances surrounding Extortion 17 and why he wrote the book, “Relentless: A Gold Star Father's Pursuit of Truth”. Episode 709 - Benjamin Hall is a First Class Father and State Department Correspondent for FOX News. He is a veteran war reporter and in March of 2022, while covering the war in Ukraine, Hall was catastrophically wounded when his team was struck by incoming fire outside Kyiv. Tragically, his colleagues Pierre Zakrzewski and Oleksandra "Sasha" Kuvshynova were killed in the attack.

Hall credits a vision of his eldest daughter with saving his life that day. His book about this experience, “Saved: A War Reporter's Mission to Make It Home” became an instant #1 New York Times bestseller.

In this Episode, Benjamin shares his Fatherhood journey which includes three daughters. He discusses the event that took place in March of 2022 and how his eldest daughter saved his life. Episode 708 - Ben Askren is a First Class Father, World Class Wrestler and former Professional MMA Fighter. During high school, he became a two–time WIAA state champion out of Arrowhead High School in Wisconsin. In college, Ben wrestled for the Missouri Tigers where he was a two–time NCAA Division I national champion (four–time finalist), and three–time Big 12 Conference champion. Ben was a member of the United States Olympic wrestling team and competed in the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. In 2009 he made his professional MMA debut and won 19 fights before suffering his first loss.

Episode 703 - Joe Klecko is a First Class Father and NFL Legend who will be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the Class of 2023. Joe played Defensive End and Defensive Tackle for the New York Jets from 1977 - 1987. He was the NFL Sack Leader in 1981 and was a part of the legendary New York Sack Exchange. His #73 was retired by the New York Jets and was one of the first players selected for the New York Jets Ring of Honor. He played his college football at Temple.
