Episode 567 Dallas Jenkins is a First Class Father, Director, Writer and Creator of THE CHOSEN. THE CHOSEN is an exploration of the life of Jesus Christ through the perspective of those that interacted with him. It is the first multi-season series about the life of Jesus, and the most successful media crowd-fund of all time. The series portrays Jesus "through the eyes of those who met him". Episode 566 BIG John McCarthy is a First Class Father, Legendary MMA Referee and current broadcaster for Bellator MMA. He also co-hosts the MMA and combat sports podcast "Weighing In" with Josh Thomson. John is known for his delivery of "Let's Get It On!" at the beginning of every MMA fight. He served as one of the head referees for nearly every fight in the UFC from UFC 2 until UFC 77. He has refereed for promotions all over the globe including the UFC, K-1, Strikeforce, Affliction, Bellator, King of the Cage and many others. He is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In 1985, John became a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department and retired from the force in 2007. In this Episode, John shares his Fatherhood journey which includes three children. Episode 565 Kenny Lattimore is a First Class Father and Grammy Nominated R&B Singer-Songwriter. His debut album, Kenny Lattimore, was released on Columbia Records in 1996. That set included a pair of Top 20 hits: "Never Too Busy" and the Grammy-nominated "For You". The album earned Lattimore a win for Best New Artist at the NAACP Image Awards. He has been hailed by the New York Times as a “modern soul man,” and released three successful records through his independent label SincereSoul: Anatomy of a Love Song (2015), A Kenny Lattimore Christmas (2016), and Vulnerable (2017). Episode 564 Bobby Valentine is a First Class Father and MLB Legend. Bobby Valentine was the fifth player chosen in the 1968 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but his major league playing career was cut short by a broken leg several years later. He began his managerial career in 1985 with the Texas Rangers, before going on to manage the Chiba Lotte Marines; the New York Mets, whom he took to the 2000 World Series; and the Boston Red Sox. A second stint with the Marines resulted in the team winning the Japan Series and Asia Series in 2005. In 2002, he was awarded the Branch Rickey Award for his donations to and personal work with survivors of the 9/11 attacks. In 2018, the Emperor of Japan bestowed upon him the Order of the Rising Sun. He has also worked as an analyst for ESPN. Currently, he is the executive director of athletics at Sacred Heart University, the proprietor of the Bobby Valentine Sports Academy, and an owner of Makuhari Media, a company that produces sports documentaries. He was raised and resides in Stamford, Connecticut where he was named Citizen of the Year in 2011. In this Episode, Bobby shares his Fatherhood journey which includes a 38 year old son. Episode 562 Noah Galloway is a First Class Father and Combat Veteran and Purple Heart recipient who joined the United States Army after the attacks on 9/11. On December 19, 2005, during his second deployment, he was severely injured in an IED attack in Yusufiah, Iraq. As a result, Noah lost his left leg above the knee and his left arm above the elbow. “No Excuses,” became his mantra as he rose out of a post-traumatic depression via his reinvigorating passion for fitness. He would become the first veteran and amputee to be featured on the cover of Men’s Health magazine. Noah also became a finalist on the hit ABC show “Dancing with the Stars” and would win the debut season of FOX’s “American Grit”. He is currently a motivational speaker who shares his story to encourage audiences to embrace the “No Excuses” lifestyle on their way to an enhanced mental and physical wellness. He is the Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee and former Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee. Congressman Jordan is also a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus. Before he began his career in politics, Jim Jordan was a two-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Prior to college he won state championships all four years he was in high school and compiled a 156–1 win-loss record. He went on to coach wrestling at the Ohio State University, while also earning a master’s degree. Episode 558 Willie Gault is a First Class Father and NFL Legend. He was one of the fastest players in NFL history and was also a member of the U.S. Olympic team that boycotted the 1980 Olympics. Willie played his college football at Tennessee before being drafted with the 18th pick of the first round by the Chicago Bears in the 1983 NFL Draft. He was an integral part of the 1985 Bears team which was one of the most dominating NFL teams of all time and winners of Super Bowl XX. That year, Willie led the team in receiving yards and had a game-leading 129 yards in the Super Bowl. He finished his NFL career with the Los Angeles Raiders. After his retirement from the NFL Willie returned to the track and competed in Masters athletics where he set a number of World Records and was inducted into the USATF Masters Hall of Fame. He was also inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. In this Episode, Willie shares his Fatherhood journey which includes a son and a daughter.
