Episode 575 Jimmy Chase is a First Class Father whose son Ja’Marr Chase is a star wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. Jimmy has watched his son Ja’Marr win the College National Championship with LSU and then become the 5th overall pick of the 2021 NFL. Ja’Marr was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and has played a pivotal role in the Bengals making it to Super Bowl LVI. Jimmy Chase is a Social Worker and a counselor by trade who helps youth and underprivileged kids get on the path to a better life. In this Episode, Jimmy shares his fatherhood journey which includes five kids. He discusses the guidance he gave his son Ja’Marr about sitting out his final year at LSU. He describes the feeling as a dad watching his son be selected in the First Round of the NFL Draft. Episode 574 Mike Pompeo is a First Class Father and Former Secretary of State. He has served as the 70th Secretary of State of the United States, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and was elected to four terms in Congress representing the Fourth District of Kansas. Mike graduated first in his class from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986. He served as a cavalry officer in the U.S. Army, leading troops patrolling the Iron Curtain, rising to the rank of Captain. As our nation’s most senior diplomat in the Trump Administration and President Trump’s chief negotiator, Mike helped to craft U.S. foreign policy based on our nation’s founding ideals that put America First. In his second interview on First Class Fatherhood, Pompeo gives us an update on his son Nick who is now engaged to be married this summer. Shawn is a combat veteran who served with SEAL Team 2 and SEAL Team 8 deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Episode 572 Donovan McNabb is a First Class Father and NFL Legend. He played his college ball at Syracuse University where they retired his #5 jersey after dominating the Big East and being named Big East Offensive Player of the Year three times. He was drafted in the first round with the second pick of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles who would eventually retire his #5 jersey as well. During his time with the Eagles he led the team to eight playoff appearances, five NFC East division championships, five NFC Championship games and Super Bowl XXXIX. Episode 569 J.R. Martinez is a First Class Father, Actor, Motivational Speaker and United States Army Veteran. J.R. was deployed to Iraq and was driving a Humvee when its left front tire hit an IED. As a result he suffered smoke inhalation and severe burns to more than 34 percent of his body. He spent 34 months at BAMC and has undergone 33 plastic surgery and skin graft surgeries. He became a motivational speaker and began providing support to fellow burn survivors while being treated for his burn injuries. In 2008, J.R. was cast in ABC's daytime drama “All My Children” as Brot Monroe. Despite having to relearn how to walk, he competed on and won Season 13 of ABC's “Dancing with the Stars”.
