85 | From Big Income To Small Income And Back Again - Coaching Spotlight With Shannon, A Financial Advisor Who Hit Her Goals W/ Financial Coaching May 12, 2023
    Show notes

Book A Free Financial Coaching Call!

Our amazing clients took a big pay cut when they separated from the military. They went from a large income to a small income. Then, within a few years, they went from a small income to a large income. Guess what they learned?

    • It doesn’t matter your income level, you need a budget.
    • Most of the time it’s not an income problem, it’s a spending problem.

No matter what you’re making, your habits will affect your budget and financial outcomes.

Shannon was hesitant to get financial coaching for two reasons:

    • She’s a financial advisor! She shouldn’t need help.

    • She’s strong, smart and independent. Surely she could do it herself!

Fortunately, she dove in and has now had so many successes after coaching:

    • They paid off all credit card debt.

    • They paid off their motorcycle debt.

    • She lived beneath her means for two years so that she could save money, pay off debt and be able to move into a home at the right time.

    • She’s now taking time for herself and allowing someone to help HER instead of it always being the other way around.

    She’s learned:

    • Taking time for herself is important, even if she doesn’t “have the time” or she “could” do it on her own.

    • She doesn't need to do it all on her own, it’s okay to have help.

    • Paying off debt NOW, not at the end of the month is crucial

Shannon is now feeling hopeful about her financial situation. She can see the light at the end of the tunnel. She’s confident, disciplined and working the system.

Shannon went from a large to a small income. Then she went from a small income to a large income. Her situation begs the question:

You can do a lot on your own. But how much more could you do if you had help? Someone in your corner?

84 | 3 Biblical Truths About Money, Budgeting, Debt & Being A Good Steward Over Your Finances - Listen For Scripture To Convict You & Motivate You! May 10, 2023
    Show notes

    Snag Our Simplified Budget System!

Talking about money can feel taboo—especially in Christian circles. But today, we’re speaking life over you and unpacking what the Bible and Jesus actually teach about money and stewardship. Our goal? To help clear out guilt, confusion, and distractions around God's plan for your finances.

In this episode, we dig into three powerful scriptures:

📖 1 Timothy 6:10 – It’s the love of money that leads to evil, not money itself.📖 Matthew 25:14-30 – The Parable of the Talents shows God blesses wise stewardship.📖 Matthew 6:24 – You can’t serve both God and money. One will always win.

Let’s be real: craving money or obsessing over it will absolutely derail your walk with God. But using money well? That can be one of the best ways to serve Him.

The Parable of the Talents reminds us:

    • God celebrates when you win with money 🙌

    • Scarcity mindset ≠ faith

    • Don’t avoid your finances or stay passive

    • Use your money on purpose so you don’t miss out on bigger blessings

    • Faithful stewardship leads to the ultimate win: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Then we ask: is money secretly your master?

💡 Are your moods, decisions, or energy driven by money?💡 Are you staying in a job you hate because of money stress?💡 Do you think about money first—or God’s will?

Money is a tool. But if it’s controlling you, it’s time to flip the script. Get out of debt, take charge of your finances, and submit your budget to God. That’s how you get free to serve Him—without money calling the shots.
